NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?

10am: Tunisia v Australia

TV: BBC, RTE

The worst thing that Australia could do was score early against France wasn’t it? They made them angry and they took them apart. I don’t think Tunisia are a bad side, they look well up for it but maybe just lack the quality to go far. I’ll go 1-0 to Tunisia here though.

1pm: Poland v Saudi Arabia

TV: ITV, RTE

Poland weren’t great against Mexico and obviously Robert Lewandowski missed a penalty in that 0-0. It will be interesting to see what Saudi Arabia are like after that outstanding 2-1 win over Argentina and whether they can replicate that or not. I think they might have peaked so I’ll go 2-1 to Poland. Lightening very rarely strikes twice!

4pm: France v Denmark

TV: ITV, RTE

While they didn’t look great, at least Denmark didn’t concede against Tunisia. I think this might be a 1-1 Draw. I just think France like teams coming on to them, they’re not a team to force the pace in games and I think this suits the way that Denmark are set up.

7pm: Argentina v Mexico

TV: ITV, RTE

It all looked so good for Argentina early in the piece against Saudi but it fell apart in spectacular fashion. I’ll go for them to beat Mexico 2-1 and keep themselves alive. Mexico are tough, they always are at World Cups. They’ve always got talented players but Argentina just have to win this.
