I think this might be a 1-1 Draw. Other than a couple of exceptions the first round wasn’t full of goals because everyone knows how they other teams are going to set up. Japan got a massive win against Germany but it’ll be interesting how they approach this with the pressure on them and Costa Rica looking to keep the score down.
I’ll go 1-0 to Belgium in this one. It’s going to be interesting how they go in this competition and what the state of Romelu Lukaku is going forward. They weren’t great against Canada but got the job done and fancy them to do so again and beat Morocco, but it might be tight.
Croatia were goalless on Wednesday morning and were not very adventurous at all. They had that mentality of, ‘let’s make sure we don’t lose that game.’ Canada were full of energy against Belgium but badly lacking in end product. They were the best team in North American qualifying and they’ve definitely got something. I’ll go for a 1-1 here.
Germany are already in trouble again after losing 2-1 to Japan on Wednesday. You just don’t know what kind of Spain are going to turn up on any given day, though they battered Costa Rica and looked very handy. We like the way they play and everyone seems to get on with the manager Luis Enrique. Because it’s such a big game I think Spain might shut it down as they’ve already got one foot in the last 16. I’ll go 0-0.
