Mexico had a bore draw with Poland and they survived Robert Lewandowski, of all people, missing a penalty. They didn’t inspire me and they do need something but I don’t think they’re going to get it here.
Argentina, against Saudi Arabia, were just too confident. They thought it was going to be so easy after their 35 match unbeaten run. Now they’ve got to get up for it, now they have to turn up.

Because Mexico will be trying to have a go themselves and I’m expecting this to have a few goals in it. That was the shock of the tournament, we had another one with Germany as well so it’s quite something.
I do fancy Argentina to Win this one and there’s going to be a few goals. So, my Bet Builder is Argentina to Win and Both Teams to Score.
I’ll have Lionel Messi to Score Anytime, I still think he’ll win the golden boot, and I’m going with Over 2.5 Goals in this game.
