The Iran game couldn’t have gone much better, obviously they conceded two goals but scoring six was great. Iran weren’t great but everything went perfectly and it’s such a good start with a number of players on the score sheet.
I really enjoyed the USA v Wales game. USA were the better side first half but Wales came back and fought hard and I thought they edged the second half. I think the draw was probably fair but Wales looked the most likely to go on and nick it.
That Wales game showed that USA have a threat and that Christian Pulisic is a big player for them. They can cause England problems but I think going forward we’ll have too much for them.
Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane and Mason Mount, anyone who plays in attack, they’re going to cause USA some problems. I think there’s too much there for the US backline and I think we’ll have a few goals, something like 3-1 to England so Over 2.5 Goals.

It’s a strange one that England scored six and Harry Kane didn’t get one. When you’re a forward and your team scores that many it’s going to play on your mind. He got a couple of assists but I’d rather he got his shooting boots on in the latter stages. I don’t think it will affect him and in there’s a chance in the game he’s the one you want it to fall to.

I think there might be the odd card here. They’ll probably take this as a bit of a derby game and USA have to get something out of this. England don’t pick up too many cards but USA got three in their opener and showed they might get stuck in.
Christian Pulisic to Have 1 or More Shots on Target
Pulisic is USA’s main threat. At Chelsea he doesn’t have as much responsibility as the does for the national team. They’ve got other quality players but Pulisic is the man most likely to test Jordan Pickford.
Bukayo Saka to Have 1 or More Shots on Target
I just hope Bukayo Saka’s fit, he had a great game and had some lovely finishes. I think Sterling could have an impact as well but all three are in great form, as they were at the Euros as well.
