The Swiss have a habit of doing well in these major competitions. I don’t think they’ve got masses of quality players to choose from, but that said they do have a very settled side. They’re very difficult to beat and they’ve got a bit of a physical edge.
Cameroon can get beat 3-0 or thrash you 5-0 because they will be very strong, well organised and very quick. I’m going to go for Cameroon to win 2-1.
Uruguay v South Korea

My worry about South Korea is the quality of side they’re facing during the qualification process. You wonder if they’re used to playing good, organised, efficient and tactically-clever sides. I’m going to go 2-0 to Uruguay.
They’ve got some good forwards, Uruguay, like Luis Suarez and Darwin Nunez. They might have the nous to get it done and Son Heung-min has to be worried about that eye injury so he might not be at his best.

I’m afraid we have to talk about Cristiano Ronaldo, don’t we? Do you play him? If you don’t tell him he’s brilliant and leave him on the bench does he sulk? To do what he did… Manchester United just have to sack him.
I think there’s also a feeling in Portugal that the manager Fernando Santos is past his best and it’s time for a change. They’ve got a lot of problems. They do have some great players though but Ghana, I don’t think there’s any mystery there, I’ll go Portugal to Win 1-0.
Brazil v Serbia

You’ve got to match Serbia’s physicality and they’ll be good at the dark arts as well. My only worry about Brazil would be defensively. The full backs are nothing like the calibre and quality of years gone by but they’ve just got so much talent.
They can take five off and bring five on and just have a team which is as good. I’ll go 2-0 to Brazil.
