Premier League Tips: Joe Cole’s 13/1 & 7/1 Bet Builders for Saturday

Joe Cole fancies the Toffees and Chelsea to take the points in Saturday's televised Premier League clashes.

Following Man City’s exit from the Champions League and another midweek draw for Liverpool, the Premier League returns with a full schedule this weekend.

To accompany your lunch, we have arguably a relegation clash between Everton and Man United, with David Moyes looking to continue his great form since returning to the Toffees by getting one other on another of his former clubs.

For dinner, struggling Chelsea will travel to Villa Park in search of respite after two humbling defeats against Brighton.

Paddy Power ambassador Joe Cole joined us during the week to give us his value picks for these two games.

He’s got four-player picks in here, too, which are all covered by Paddy’s Super Sub offer, meaning if a player is substituted, the pick carries over to his replacement. Let’s get his tips.

Saturday’s Premier League Bet Builder tips

Beto 2+ shots
Both teams to score? Yes
Bruno Fernandes to score or assist

5:30pm: Aston Villa v Chelsea
Both teams to score? Yes
Cole Palmer to score or assist
Chelsea to win
Christopher Nkunku to score

12:30pm: Everton v Man United

TV: TNT Sports

What can you say about David Moyes? He’s done an unbelievable job; Everton have been on a roll since he returned and he’s got them up to 14th.

Ruben Amorim seems to put his foot in it with the press continually; he says Man United need the season to end, which can’t do great things for his team’s morale, which is why I’m going for Everton to win here.

Beto has started to show how good of a player he is under Moyes by leading the line well and has scored four in his last three games. He’s in great form; I’ve got him having 2+ shots here.

Man United will still have a small say in the match and will get chances. So, I’ll back both teams to score.

Finally, Bruno Fernandes is still shining in this poor Man United side. He always plays a role for them and for him to score or assist is always a good bet, so I’m backing that,

5:30pm: Aston Villa v Chelsea

TV: Sky Sports Main Event/Premier League

Chelsea are really out of form at the moment. I was at the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge in December, where Chelsea beat Villa 3-0. It was one of their best performances of the season; they looked outstanding.

Aston Villa are coming into this off the back of a big draw in midweek against Liverpool. Ollie Watkins is back amongst the goals and Marcus Rashford is showing signs of getting back to his best.

Interestingly, Villa haven’t kept a clean sheet in eight games, so betting on both teams to score is a good bet here.

Cole Palmer has been quiet recently. He doesn’t go this long without a goal or assist and will want to get back amongst the goals. I have a feeling he’ll score or assist in this game.

There’s still no Nicolas Jackson for Chelsea so Christopher Nkunku will probably be involved in the attack again. It is now or never for him. It is all good scoring loads in the Conference League, but he has to start scoring in the Premier League, and this would be a great place to start.

I want to go with my heart more than my head and also back Chelsea to win this one.
