Celtic start Sunday’s Premiership clash against Dundee United as hot favourites to get the victory and will likely record another significant win at Tannadice.
The Hoops have won 19 matches this season across all competitions, and 17 of these have been by at least two goals.
Dundee United post a decent home record, having lost only 2 of their 8 fixtures, while they have not lost by a couple of goals in any competition since their opening League Cup game against Falkirk way back in July, but Celtic are likely to prove too powerful for Jim Goodwin’s side.

Nicolas Kuhn has been Celtic’s main man in the Premiership when it has come to goal contributions this season, scoring five times himself and laying on six for others. His 1.15 G+A per 90 is outstripped only by Luke McCowan, who is likely to be on the bench for this encounter.
The German had been going through a little quiet period, going four matches without supplying a decisive contribution, yet he burst back into life last weekend with a late goal in normal time in the League Cup final against Rangers. Expect this to get him back up and running just in time for Christmas.

Celtic’s dominance of the league is reflected by their territorial control of games and the high corner count they enjoy as a consequence. Brendan Rodgers’ side have averaged 8.38 corners per match away from home in the Scottish Premiership this season, which is 2.16 more than any other club.
Dundee United, meanwhile, are not particularly strong at preventing these situations. They give away 5.69 overall, which is a tally around average for the league. The difference is, however, that they are the only side that has not played Celtic yet. Expect this figure to rise off the back of the Hoops’ visit.
Vicko Sevelj to commit 2+ fouls
Croatian midfielder Sevelj is prolific when it comes to giving away fouls. With 29 committed this season, no other Dundee United player even gets close to him in the Premiership.
Since earning a place as a starter at the beginning of October, the 24-year-old has committed at least two fouls in eight of his 10 starts.
He can also be counted on to play the vast majority of the match. He has only been replaced once during this run – and that came after he had already played 180 minutes that same week due to a midweek game.

Referee David Dickinson is generally a stingy character with his cards. In Scottish football this season, he averages only 3.9 per game across his 10 fixtures. On Sunday, he is likeliest to find himself waving towards the home team.
Goodwin will likely set up his side to be aggressive and physical in their approach, which is reflected in the fact they have received 41 yellow cards (0 reds) in 16 games this season at a rate of 2.56 per match. They stand fourth in the league in terms of cards received per match.
Celtic, on the other hand, are bottom of this particular table on 1.27 per match. Celtic have received just 19 yellow cards overall. Only three times have they picked up more than 1 in a single league match.
