The 30-year-old has clearly benefited from being pushed into a more advanced role, a tweak that saw him average 1.14 shots on target per game during Euro 2024 qualifying. Sabitzer has since registered three on-target efforts across his three appearances at Euro 2024, making him an appealing prospect to test Turkey goalkeeper Mert Gunok at least once on Tuesday night.
Stefan Posch to Commit 2 or more Fouls
Austria’s Stefan Posch certainly wasn’t afraid to get stuck in during Austria’s all-conquering effort in Group D. The tough-tackling right-back committed a combined total of nine fouls across his opening three appearances in the competition. Furthermore, Posch was also cautioned in his most recent outing against the Netherlands.
The Bologna man could be in for another busy night on Tuesday when taking on a Turkey team that carries plenty of final-third threat, particularly in wide areas. After giving away two or more free kicks in each of his three appearances at Euro 2024 to date, Posch is an appealing price to fall foul of the referee at least twice for the fourth game running.

Turkey’s 2-1 win over the Czech Republic descended into a bad-blooded battle and tensions and tempers are expected to be strained again on Tuesday night. There is unlikely to be the same avalanche of cards (18) this time around but a minimum of six bookings should be within range from referee Artur Dias.
Austria were the most prolific foulers (49) during the group stage of Euro 2024, while Turkey collected more yellow cards (16) than any other team across their three group games. On top of this, Turkey’s games during Euro 2024 qualifying are averaging 6.63 cards per 90 minutes, so all the ingredients appear to be in place for another hard-hitting contest involving the Crescent Stars.
