After giving us his group stage fancies, Thommo is all over the Last-16 clashes and he’s looking into Germany v Denmark as the tournament hosts face Christian Eriksen and Co, who held England to a draw in Group C. Let’s get his full thoughts…

Denmark have been decent so far at Euro 2024 after drawing all three of their Group C games to see them progress in second place being England.
They’ll be happy with their performance in the draw against The Three Lions. They sat back against England that day and they’ll do the exact same here.
Gerrmany could end up getting a little frustrated with Denmark and they’ll just want a team to have a go at them, however, that won’t happen on Saturday as the Danes will sit back and soak up the pressure.
Julian Nagelsmann’s side were poor against Switzerland in their final Group A outing after hammering Scotland in their opening game and beating Hungary.
You have to fancy Germany to Win in front of the home crowd and they should have too much quality for Denmark.
I can’t see Denmark scoring so I’m siding with Germany to Win 2-0 as a Correct Score pick.
