Rasmus Hojlund to Score Anytime
Rasmus Hojlund enjoyed a relatively successful first season at Manchester United, scoring 16 goals in all competitions and reaching double digits in the league.
However, there were long periods when the young Danish striker failed to find the back of the net and the 21-year-old appears to be a streaky player that thrives on recent form.
Luckily for Hojlund – and Denmark – he finished his club season on a high, scoring in each of United’s final two league games of the campaign and making an impact off the bench in the FA Cup final victory over Manchester City.
Hojlund scored seven goals in qualifying, including an equaliser against Slovenia in Ljubljana. He is decent value to score against the same opposition again in Denmark’s championship opener.

Hojlund’s goalscoring record is all the more impressive when one considers how starved he was of chances in that Manchester United side.
Hojlund attempted just 39 shots in 30 Premier League appearances last season at a rate of just 1.3 per game. However, he finds himself in a far more attack-minded Danish outfit and should get plenty of opportunities against one of the weaker sides in the competition.
The Danes averaged two goals per game in qualifying and will likely match that average against Slovenia, at the very least. They should create more chances for the young striker than United did throughout the season, which should aid his chances of finding the back of the net as well.

Rasmus Hojlund to be Fouled Two or More Times
Hojlund made a telling intervention in the FA Cup final by drawing a foul deep into City territory to relieve pressure on the United goal late in stoppage time.
The burly striker is not afraid of roughing it up with centre backs many years his senior and drew an average of a foul per game in both league and Champions League during the season.
He will cause plenty of problems for the Slovenian back four and could easily draw more than one foul. They averaged more than 11 fouls per game in qualifying and there is no reason to think that they will not at least match that against a superior team likely to dominate proceedings.
Hojlund is decent value to draw at least two of those 11 fouls.

Hojlund’s physicality also leaves him prone to conceding fouls as well.
The United striker often entangles himself with an opposition centre back, sometimes to the neglect of his attacking intent.
He averages 0.7 fouls per game in the Premier League but reached the dizzying heights of 1.3 fouls per game in Europe last season for the Red Devils.
Denmark committed 25 fouls in their two games against Slovenia in qualifying, which points to a relatively physical game being in store. Ideal for Hojlund, but he may cross the line once or twice.
