Premier League Tips: Joe Cole’s 16/1 & 12/1 Bet Builders for Saturday’s TV matches

Joe reckons Villa will tame the Wolves on Saturday night!

The Premier League kicks off Gameweek 24 with high-flying Nottingham Forest hosting Brighton on the tellybox as Wolves take on Aston Villa in the evening game.

Former Chelsea midfielder turned PP ambassador Joe Cole joined us earlier this week to let us know what he thinks will go down at the City Ground and Molineux.

He’s got three player picks in here which are covered by Paddy’s Super Sub offer, meaning if a player is substituted, the pick carries over to his replacement.

Let’s get his Nottingham Forest v Brighton & Wolves v Aston Villa betting tips.

12:30pm: Nottingham Forest v Brighton

TV: TNT Sports 1

This is a fantastic game to start the weekend off with and I’ll be covering it as another 12:30 kick off in the Premier League. Forest have been going great guns, they are up to third in the table, but coming into this game off a 5-0 defeat – it’s even more important they show they are the real deal.

Brighton, on the other hand, are ninth in the table, and I think more was probably expected from their manager based on their start to the season. They have drawn ten times in the Premier League, that’s more than anyone else, but I do think they are better side than they’re showing, Forest are probably punching a bit above their weight.

So, for this bet, I’m going for a draw. The reverse fixture was 2-2 in September and I expect both teams to score.

I think it’s certainly worth keeping an eye on Forest goal keeper Matz Selzs, he’s been sensational for Forest, so him to make three or more saves is a good option.

Chris Wood has also been amongst the goals, with 14 in the Premier League, so I’m backing him to score and have 2+ shots as he averages that per 90 minutes this season.

5:30pm: Wolves v Aston Villa

TV: Sky Sports Main Event/Premier League

I expect Villa to go and win this game on the back of that brilliant Champions League win over Celtic in midweek. There is obviously massive transfer speculation going on at the club right now, there have been bids put in for their two strikers in Jhon Duran and Ollie Watkins, and Villa have to make a decision.

Do they let both players go? Or neither, or maybe just one? However, opponents Wolves are 18th in the table, and they might only need a draw to get themselves out of the bottom three. I’ve watched Wolves a few times in recent weeks, going forward they are fine, but they’ve not kept a clean sheet in six games.

Matheus Cunha is their star, so I’m backing him for 3+ shots, as he averages over three per 90 minutes currently, and he’s got 10 league goals already this season – so I’ll go for him to get a goal – and BTTS.
