Wales are on the road to the World Cup 2026… well, maybe. Craig Bellamy extended his unbeaten start as Wales boss in midweek, via a 3-1 home win over Kazakhstan in Cardiff, to kickstart their potential road to North America next summer.
The fiery former striker cuts a different character on the touchline for his country and his young side impressed in their opening qualifier ahead of huge trip to North Macedonia who started with victory in Lichtenstein.
Our tipster, Feargal Brennan has dived into the data on both sides ahead of kick off and has a Bet Builder for us to enjoy on Tuesday night. So, let’s get into his North Macedonia v Wales betting tips.

Over 3.5 goals
Both sides are on a high after opening wins and the two teams also scored exactly three goals in their opening qualifier. That brings with it an almost guarantee of goals in Skopje and Wales’ deeper numbers back that up.
Four of Wales’ seven games under Bellamy have featured over 3.5 goals scored in total, including two of their their away matches, with a 2-1 win in Montenegro and a 2-2 draw on the road in Iceland back in the autumn.
Both teams to score: Yes
Bellamy’s team have been a little attack-heavy in recent months with the striker staying true to his instincts in front of goal. They have only failed to score in two of their seven matches under his leadership via two 0-0 draws with Turkey.
However, they have been far more potent against ‘weaker’ opposition than Turkey, with two or more goals scored in four of the other five clashes including two in both games away in Montenegro and Iceland.
North Macedonia have a strong defensive record, with six successive clean sheets, but Wales are the strongest opponent they have faced in the last nine months, and that will test their defensive resolve. The hosts have also scored in their last 12 home games.

Brennan Johnson to score or assist
With no Harry Wilson in the Wales squad, there is even more attention on Tottenham star Brennan Johnson, who has been in consistent form for his club of late. Despite Spurs enduring a mixed overall season, Johnson has still managed to net 14 goals across all competitions, and he has two goals in five starts in Bellamy’s attack.
He was a frequent threat against Kazakhstan in Cardiff, without managing to score, and if Kieffer Moore is brought in to start this game, he could be afforded more space to dart in from out wide to take his chances.
Bojan Miovski to score or assist
Veteran striker Aleksandar Trajkovski will be once again paired up with Girona forward Bojan Miovski in a hot North Macedonia attack.
Miovski netted three goals as North Macedonia went unbeaten in their autumn UEFA Nations League campaign and he also scored the final goal in the 3-0 win in Lichtenstein last week. Four international goals in the last 12 months makes him the main man for the hosts.
Under 9.5 corners
As a little added extra to throw into this game, corners could be one to keep an eye on, with neither side particularly prolific at winning them. Wales have won an average of 2.6 per away game with Bellamy in charge with North Macedonia racking up just 3.6 based on their three home matches from the last 12 months.
