For Tuesday’s World Cup Qualifiers we’ve got a couple of important games and some minnows are in action too.
Wales travel to North Macedonia and Israel host Norway in Hungary while Gibraltar face the Czech Republic. Elsewhere, Liechtenstein are at home to Kazakhstan and Montenegro entertain the Faroe Islands.
PP football tipster, Paddy Murphy, has dived into the stats and form to find five value picks, and with this being a five-fold Acca, too, Paddy’s footy acca betting offer kicks in, so we’ll get our stake back if just one leg lets us down.

North Macedonia v Wales – Both teams to score & over 2.5 goals
World Cup qualifier at the Tose Proeski Arena, Skopke
TV:BBC Wales, S4C, 7:45pm
Both sides began their journey to USA 2026 with wins: North Macedonia beat whipping boys Liechtenstein 0-3, and Wales beat Kazakhstan 3-1 in Cardiff. We should be in for a decent match here, as both teams are in good nick.
The hosts have won all six of their most recent fixtures and are unbeaten over their last seven on home soil, winning four and drawing two, scoring 10 and conceding four.
Wales are unbeaten over their last seven fixtures, scoring 12 goals and conceding five.
Their away from has been pretty bad, though, winning just one of their last five, drawing three, one of which was rather embarrassingly against lowly Gibraltar, and losing one. Of course, only three of those away games saw Craig Bellamy as manager, and they’ve most certainly improved under his tutelage.
With Belgium yet to play in the group, both sides are going to want to try and get ahead here, and with both in decent goal-scoring form, we expect both to score and at least one of them to grab a second.
Israel v Norway – Erling Haaland anytime goalscorer
World Cup Qualifier at the Nagyerdei Stadion, Debrecen
TV: Viaplay YouTube, 7:45pm
This game is being played in Debrecen which is in (checks notes) Hungry… and from what we’ve found, there are a boatload of tickets still to be sold.
Out the window goes home advantage in that case, and Israel have to face an Erling Haaland who’s scored five goals over his last three appearances for the Norwegians, as well as eight over his last 10 for Manchester City.
It’s rare enough these days that you see Haaland priced so generously to score anytime, unless it’s against a decent Premier League defence, and Israel, conceding 14 over their last seven games, certainly does not have a decent defence.

Gibraltar v Czechia – Gibraltar +3
World Cup Qualifier at the Estádio Do Algarve, Almancil
TV: Viaplay YouTube, 7:45pm
The Handicap market caught our eye at first here but with the line at 3, we’d need the Czechs to win by four goals here. Should they win by three and we back +3 for the hosts, we’d still lose so we want to play it a bit safe.
Looking at previous results, Gibraltar has been beaten by four goals or more on just three occasions out of a possible 22.
France, Turkey, and Greece could only put three past the hosts. Scotland just two. The Republic of Ireland put four past them in October 2023, while the Netherlands put six past them a month later and seven past them in March of 2021.
The Czech Republic don’t score tons of goals, but they’ve scored at least two in four of their last six fixtures, and if the likes of Ireland, Greece, Georgia, and Scotland can get at least two past the hosts, then the Czechs certainly should do so too. Should this turn into a bit of a rout, though, we’re covered up to four goals for the away side.

Liechtenstein v Kazakhstan – Kazakhstan 1-2 goals range
World Cup Qualifier at the Rheinpark Stadion, Vaduz
TV: Viaplay YouTube, 7:45pm
Both sides have won one of their last 10 combined fixtures. Liechtenstein’s win was against the absolute powerhouse of Asian football that is Hong Kong, and Kazakhstan beat Curaçao, who are pretty decent in CONCACAF.
The hosts have scored two goals over their last five games and two over their last five at home. The Kazakhs pose more of a threat as they’ve scored four over their last five and three over their last five on the road, so there’s some value to be had in backing the away side to score 1-2 goals in the Goals Range market.
Montenegro v Faroe Islands – Montenegro to win
World Cup Qualifier at the Stadion Kraj Bistrice, Nikšić
TV: Viaplay YouTube, 7:45pm
Montenegro beat Gibraltar 3-1 on Saturday but the Faroes went down 2-1 against the Czech Republic in Hradec Kralove. The hosts also beat Turkey 3-1 back in November but their three prior home games ended in defeat.
The Faroe Islands have won one, drawn two and lost one over their last five but their away form is pretty atrocious, they’ve only won one of their last seven, a 0-1 win over Armenia, losing all six of the others, scoring just three goals in total.
With the hosts netting six times over their last two games, we simply have to back them to take the three points here.
