Both teams to score, yes
Losing to Wrexham on home turf on Saturday will have stung Mike Dodds’ Wycombe side. They’re now three points behind the Hollywood gang in third position and really need to push for a win here and wrestle back second place.
However, their form of late wouldn’t exactly fill you with confidence. The away side have won just one of their last five in the league, drawing two and losing two and on their travels, they’ve won one, drawn three and lost one, scoring five and conceding five.
Rotherham have won two, drawn one, and lost two over their last five in League One, sharing the same results at home, scoring five and conceding five as well. With both sides keeping just one clean sheet over their last 10 home/away league games apiece, both sides should be getting at least one.
Rotherham, corner match bet
Despite the odds being the same for both teams to win this market, at the time of writing anyway, Rotherham’s corner stats are far superior when compared to the away side. The Millers have had 7, 5, 11, 8 and 8 corners over their last five home League One games, averaging 6.72 for the season so far.
The away side have only chalked up 2, 3, 7, 2, and 5 over their last five away league games and average just 4.22 corners per away League One game, so we’re backing the hosts to win in this market.
Draw
The great problem here for both sides is that the goals have really dried up of late. Yes, Wycombe’s Richard Kone has been having a great season, scoring 17 league goals over his 32 appearances but the Irishman has only found the back of the net once over their last five league games.
The Chairboys have proven tough to beat on the road though, three of their last five games have ended all square.
We can’t put our trust in a home win either, the hosts have only scored five over their last five at home and, apart from a purple patch in January, have been struggling all season to put games to bed. While both teams should be getting on the scoresheet, largely thanks to the lacklustre defending of both teams, we just can’t pick a winner and the Draw price is more than fair and worth taking.
