Premier League Tips: Joe Cole’s 45/1 & 11/1 Bet Builders for Sunday’s clashes

Joe Cole fancies Arsenal to edge it over Chelsea and honours shared at the King Power between Leicester and Man United.

For Sunday’s televised Premier League matches we’ve got Arsenal hosting Chelsea in the early kickoff at 1:30pm and Leicester entertaining Man United at 7pm.

Ahead of what promises to be a cracking day of football, Paddy Power ambassador Joe Cole joined us to give his top picks for both of these games.

Four of Joe’s selections are covered by Paddy Power’s Super Sub offer, meaning if a player is substituted, the pick carries over to his replacement.

Arsenal v Chelsea

I’ve covered both teams this week in Europe. Both Arsenal and Chelsea played weakened teams, but both got the results they needed.

It’s a tough match to call, it really is. What do Arsenal do now? They have their Champions League match with Real Madrid coming to town in April, but I still think that they need to consolidate their place in the Premier League top four, so the league cannot be put on the back burner yet, particularly regarding this game, which is a London derby.

It was great to see Raheem Sterling get the Man of the Match award for the Gunners. He had two assists against PSV but will he start here?

I reckon Arsenal will win this game because they have to. As a former Chelsea player, it’s hard for me to say it, but they’re just slightly better at the moment, and the Premier League standings show that, so I see this ending 2-1 to Arsenal.

Arsenal Match Odds

8/11
Yes Both Teams To Score

I always like Gabriel to have one or more shots on target from a set piece because he gets his head on everything, and he hits the target more often than not. So that’s a good bet from an Arsenal perspective.

11/5
Gabriel Magalhaes Player To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target

Looking at Chelsea, well, since it’s a London derby, I like to look at the cards. Moises Caicedo’s been carded nine times so far this season, so he’s always good to pick up something in that hectic area in the midfield. I like Enzo Fernandez to commit two or more fouls. He averages 1.67 per game, and I think it could be quite a spiky game.

17/10
Moises Caicedo Shown a Card

4/6
Enzo Fernandez Player To Commit 2 Or More Fouls

Leicester v Man United

Premier League match at the King Power Stadium, Leicester

Bruno Fernandes is such a top, top player, but it’s a real mess at Manchester United. But at Leicester it isn’t much better at the moment, so we have two clubs who are in disarray.

The home side have lost six on the bounce now, and they’ve only scored three goals in their last nine games. Jamie Vardy is still a great player, but he’s 38 years old now, and he’s still leading the line. He’s their top scorer with seven goals.

On the flip side, Man United are 14th in the Premier League standings. Their striker, Rasmus Hojlund hasn’t scored since December 7th, United just can’t find any goals.

I can’t separate these two teams, and that’s saying something. So, I’m going for a 1-1 Draw. United will be the better side overall.

6/10
Yes Both Teams To Score

I’ll back Mads Hermansen in the Leicester goal to make three or more saves, he’s having to make 4.0 saves per game this season which is relegation form when your ‘keeper is that busy.

2/5
Leicester Goalkeeper Goalkeeper To Make 3 Or More Saves

Again, and I usually back this when Man United are concerned, Bruno Fernandes to score or assist and, if you’re going to go with a hunch, you could back Hojlund to score. Yes, he’s only got two goals over 23 games, but there’s a better player in there, and if you’re going to score, you’re going to score against Leicester, that’s a little curveball thrown in there.

1/1
Bruno Fernandes To Score Or Assist

2/1
Rasmus Hojlund Anytime Goalscorer
