As we slowly approach the business end of the season, the stakes get more intense across the European leagues. Friday night action from the German Bundesliga, Serie A, and La Liga includes a relegation six-pointer, a top-of-the-table clash, and two teams desperate for a win.
Football tipster Tom Desborough has scoured the markets and found four value picks, split across three games, involving Bayern Munich, Fiorentina and Las Palmas.
Paddy’s Super Sub offer also covers one player pick, meaning if a player is replaced, the pick carries over to his substitute.

VfB Stuttgart v Bayern Munich
Bundesliga match at MHPArena, Stuttgart
TV: Sky Sports Mix, 7:30pm
Stuttgart to win or draw
Stuttgart have had an indifferent season. Having enjoyed the highs of Champions League qualification, Sebastien Hoeneß’s side have struggled with the extra games and personnel loss. They are seventh in the Bundesliga, only three points off the top four, but have only won one of their last three games.
Bayern Munich are enjoying a return to the top of the table after missing out to Bayer Leverkusen last season. They sit eight points clear and are on course to win their 12th Bundesliga title in 13 years.
However, they haven’t looked unbeatable, and they needed a last-gasp winner against Celtic to avoid penalties last week in the Champions League.
Stuttgart beat Bayern at the MHPArena last season, 3-1, and if they take the game to Vincent Kompany’s side on Friday, they could claim one or maybe even three points.
Nick Woltemade 1+ shot on target
If Stuttgart are to get the win against Bayern, their biggest threat on goal would be Nick Woltemade. The striker has bagged two goals in his last two games, taking his tally for the season up to eight.
Incredibly, the 23-year-old has only started nine games this season, making his goal scoring record even more impressive.
It will be tough to score against the league leaders and the best defence, but when a striker is in this sort of red-hot form you would back him to at least test Manuel Neuer.

Fiorentina v Lecce
Serie A match at the Artemio Franchi Stadium, Florence
TV: One Football, 7:45pm
Fiorentina to win and under 2.5 goals
Serie A’s Friday night kickoff is a tricky tie to call as it’s a matchup between two teams that are completely out of form.
Hosts Fiorentina have lost their last three games in a row, the most recent two coming against bottom-half opponents. They also failed to score in both defeats, making Friday’s game a potential boresfest.
Lecce’s recent record doesn’t help this. The visitors have failed to score in their last three games, drawing 0-0 twice and losing 1-0 to an Udinese penalty last Friday night.
There is a glimmer of hope; however, Fiorentina are still sixth in the table, and beat Lecce in the reverse fixture in October 6-0.
So, there is a slight chance some Friday night entertainment, but it will most likely be a narrow win for the hosts.
Real Valladolid v Las Palmas
La Liga match at the José Zorrilla Stadium, Valladolid
TV: Premier Sports Player, La Liga TV, 8pm
Las Palmas to win
Our final game on Friday night comes from the very bottom of La Liga.
The end of the season can’t come soon enough for Real Valladolid. Diego Cocca’s side are bottom of the table, eight points adrift of safety, and have lost all of their last six games.
Their two most recent defeats were heavy too. A 4-0 home defeat to Sevilla and a 7-1 loss away to Athletic Bilbao look to have sealed their fate of relegation.
Opponents Las Palmas aren’t faring much better. The Gran Canaria-based club have lost five of their last six games and are only above the relegation zone on goal difference.
It is a real relegation six pointer on Friday night. But after looking dead and buried last weekend in Bilbao, I can only see another defeat coming for Vallodolid.
