Bologna v AC Milan – Both teams to score: Yes
Serie A match at the Renato Dall’Ara, Bologna
TV: OneFootball, 7:45pm
It’s a battle for European qualification in Thursday’s Serie A game as 7th placed AC Milan head to 8th placed Bologna.
With both sides already eliminated from Europe this season, the focus is now on the race to secure continental football in 2025/26. The pair both lost at the weekend, with Bologna going down 2-0 on the road at Parma, and AC Milan suffering a shock 2-1 defeat at Torino.
That was a first defeat in eight league games for Bologna and AC Milan’s first in five, so the duo are in decent form, which makes a result pick tricky in this one.
Goals seem like a better option, with Bologna scoring in 11 of their last 13 in the league and AC Milan scoring in 10 of their 11 away games in Serie A this season.
West Ham United v Leicester City – West Ham to win and under 2.5 goals
Premier League match at the London Stadium, London
TV: TNT Sports 1, 8pm
Graham Potter picked up just his second Premier League win since taking charge at West Ham over the weekend as the Hammers edged out a 1-0 victory at Arsenal.
That result also potentially struck a decisive blow in the title race, as Liverpool went on to beat Manchester City, and Paddy has already paid out on Arne Slot winning the league trophy in 2025.
With their tails up after victory at Arsenal, West Ham look primed to cruise past a luckless Leicester, who have won just once in their last 12 league games since beating West Ham in the reverse fixture in December.
Potter’s charges have only scored three goals in their last five outings, so it might not be a cracker, but another three points could also see West Ham effectively end their lingering relegation doubts and move 16 points clear of the Foxes in the drop zone.
Barrow v Carlisle United – Barrow to win
EFL League Two match at Holker Street, Barrow
TV: Sky Sports Football, 8pm
We head north for the third game in Thursday’s acca as EFL League Two’s basement side Carlisle United go to mod-table Barrow.
Carlisle’s relegation fate could already be sealed, with Mark Hughes’ team winless in their last six, and five points adrift of safety at this point.
Hosts Barrow are confident of dodging a late relegation scrap themselves, with an 11-point gap to the bottom two, and they have won three of their last four clashes at home.
