The midweek Premier League action continues on Wednesday, including a top-four clash between Nottingham Forest and Arsenal, the Champions Man City travelling to Tottenham, Brentford welcoming Everton, and a bottom-of-the-table meeting between Ipswich and Man United.
Football tipster Sam Farley has researched the markets for the four 7:30pm games and created a Wednesday night Multi-Match Bet Builder.
Two of his picks are covered by Paddy’s Super Sub offer, too, meaning that if a player is replaced, the pick carries over to his replacement.

7:30pm – Nottingham Forest v Arsenal
TV: TNT Sports 2
Under 2.5 goals
Nottingham Forest come into this game following a 4-3 defeat to Newcastle, their fifth straight Premier League game with Over 2.5 goals.
So, it might be a surprise, but we’re backing Wednesday’s game against Arsenal to have Under 2.5 goals. Despite seeing a lot of higher-scoring games recently, the majority of those have been on the road, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s team seeing Under 2.5 goals at 58.3% of league games at the City Ground this season.
He’s a defensive coach by nature and against a good Arsenal team, you’d expect that to continue. Meanwhile, Arsenal have had Under 2.5 goals in nine of 13 away games in the Premier League this season.
Given their injuries in the attacking department and the absence of Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli, we’re again likely to see a team with a makeshift striker and a team who lacks the ability to score as many as you’d expect.

Omar Marmoush to score
It’s still unclear if Erling Haaland will be available for Man City on Wednesday. However, with or without the Norwegian, we can now look elsewhere for Sky Blue goals, thanks to Omar Marmoush’s arrival. The Egyptian scored 20 goals for Frankfurt over the first half of the season and hit the ground running in the Premier League.
Yes, all three of his goals were a hat trick, but he’s looked dangerous in every game he’s played in the Premier League and was one of very few Man City players to trouble Liverpool on Sunday.
His movement and reading of the game look excellent, and he’s creating opportunities for himself, averaging 2.8 shots per game since arriving in England.
Spurs’ defensive problems are well known at this stage and they’ve conceded in all but two home games in the Premier League this season, so we should see City score and it’s likely to be the new boy once again.
Both teams to score? Yes
With Marmoush finding the back of the net, it won’t be surprising to see that we’re also backing Spurs to score with a BTTS leg in the Bet Builder. As terrible as they’ve been this season, languishing in the bottom half of the table, they are still a team that is the second-highest scorers in the league.
They’re fresh from putting four past Ipswich. After a period of significant injuries, they now have Son Heung-Min, Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski, and James Maddison available, as well as new boy Mathys Tel.
This is an attack with goals in it, and they should fare well against a Man City team who looks far weaker at the back than we’re used to for a Pep Guardiola team.
City have kept just one clean sheet in their last nine games in all competitions. They are also weaker away from home, with just two clean sheets on the road in the Premier League all season.
Defensive injuries, the integration of new signings, and the fact that they’re struggling to dictate the tempo in midfield haven’t helped them, but whatever the reasons, there are goals in this for both teams.
7:30pm – Brentford v Everton

Beto to score
It always felt like David Moyes’s return to Everton was a smart move for both parties, but nobody could have predicted it would have quite as big of an impact as it has.
Moyes has now taken charge of six Premier League games for the Toffees, and they’re unbeaten—they’ve won four, picking up 14 points from a possible 18. The biggest success story so far is that of Beto, who has looked terrible since arriving at the club last year.
The injury to Dominic Calvert-Lewin helped Beto get back into the team. However, since then, he’s been brilliant, scoring five goals across four straight starts in the Premier League and finally looking like the player Everton thought they’d signed.
Brentford are leaking goals at home in the Premier League and have yet to keep a clean sheet at the Gtech Community Stadium all season. They have also given up at least two goals in six straight home league matches. With a shaky defence facing an in-form striker, we could see Beto net again.
7:30pm – Man United v Ipswich
TV: TNT Sports 4
Both teams to score? Yes
It says a lot about Manchester United in 2025 that putting them to win against an Ipswich Town team in the relegation zone feels too risky to wager on.
Man Utd are simply terrible this season, and while they should perform better at Old Trafford, we’re yet to see any significant improvement under Ruben Amorim. His first game at the club was against Ipswich, a 1-1 draw on the road, and a similar result could well happen here.
Despite it looking likely that they’ll be in the Championship next season, there are reasons to be positive for Ipswich. Despite having just two wins on the road in the Premier League this season, this team has scored in all but three road trips, scoring 14 goals in 12 away games.
The bad news is that they’ve conceded in all but one of those games, and Man Utd, despite their troubles, still have players who can threaten a team who are averaging two goals conceded per game in the league.
