Football Tips: Friday night’s 37/1 Euro footy Multi Match Bet Builder

Our tipster has you covered this Friday night across Serie A, Bundesliga and La Liga.

Aside from the action in England, there’s plenty more football across the continent, including the German Bundesliga, Serie A, and La Liga.

Football tipster Tom Desborough rules the roost here with four value picks, split across three games, involving Freiburg, Udinese and Celta Vigo.

Paddy’s Super Sub offer also covers one player pick, meaning if a player is replaced, the pick carries over to his substitute.

Freiburg v Werder Bremen

Bundesliga match at Europa-Park, Freiburg
TV: Sky Sports Mix, 7:30pm

Under 2.5 goals

Freiburg’s recent good results have put them in the argument for European spots next season. They sit one point behind the top four. Three consecutive 1-0 wins have been enough for them to climb the Bundesliga table while clubs around them struggle for consistency.

Their solidity at the back has been crucial for their victories, as they haven’t scored more than one goal in any of their last six games.

Werder Bremen are in 10th after back-to-back defeats, the most recent of which was a disappointing 3-1 loss at home to relegation-threatened Hoffenheim.

With their recent struggles in front of goal (two goals in three games) and with the reverse fixture ending 1-0 in favour of Freiburg, this matchup will likely be a low-scoring affair.

Vincenzo Grifo to score score

The German-born Italy international provided the main talking points in Freiburg’s 1-0 win against St-Pauli last week. The forward saw his penalty saved when the goalkeeper easily caught his panenka attempt. The miss meant that Freiburg have failed to convert their last six penalties.

However, he did see two dangerous freekicks go close, and he is the club’s joint top scorer with Ritsu Doan, with six.

He also scored the winner against Heidenheim the week before, so he remains the host’s biggest threat. If they are to get their customary goal, Grifo is the most likely.

Lecce v Udinese

Serie A match at the Stadio Comunale Via del Mare, Lecce
TV: One Football, 7:45pm

Under 2.5 goals

Excitement has certainly not been the order of play for Lecce’s previous two matches, as both ended 0-0. The most recent of the two draws was the more disappointing for Friday’s hosts, as they were held by Monza, who are bottom of the table.

Udinese’s most recent away result was an impressive 1-1 draw with Serie A leaders Napoli. They followed that up with a solid 3-0 win at home to Empoli last Sunday.

It’s tough to separate these two sides, but with Lecce’s solid defence and goal-shy attack, we’ll unlikely see many goals in this one.

Celta Vigo v Osasuna

La Liga match at the El Sadar Stadium, Pamplona
TV: Premier Sports Player, La Liga TV, 8pm

Osasuna to win or draw

The final game for us on Friday night comes from La Liga as Celta Vigo host Osasuna.

The hosts have blown hot and cold this season with a draw against title-chasing Atletico, a win against mid-table Betis, and a defeat to relegation-threatened Valencia in their last three matches.

Osasuna have been in strong form recently, holding Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw at home last weekend. They have a good record against Celta Vigo, having won three of their previous five.

However, they have not won away from home in La Liga since October but have won three consecutive games on the road in the Copa Del Rey since then.

It’s a difficult match to call, but you can’t rule out the visitors, so I’m giving them a double chance to take the points.
