Premier League Tips: Joe Cole’s 7/1 & 25/1 Bet Builders for Sunday

Joe Cole fancies Tottenham to return to form against bottom half rivals Man United.

We have a doubleheader to conclude this weekend’s Premier League action, with four sides competing with very different levels of fortune.

Liverpool will be looking to bounce back after their draw in the Merseyside Derby, while Man United and Tottenham meet in the late game that some are calling a relegation six-pointer.

Paddy Power ambassador Joe Cole is one of those people. He joined us during the week to give us his value picks for these two games.

Sunday’s Premier League tips

2pm: Liverpool v Wolves
Liverpool -1
Mohamed Salah to score 2+ goals
Both teams to score? N0

4:30pm: Tottenham v Man United
Tottenham to win
Son Heung-Min to score or assist
Bruno Fernandes to score or assist
Both teams to score? Yes
Manuel Ugarte to be carded

2pm: Liverpool v Wolves

TV: Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Premier League

Liverpool are seven points clear at the top of the Premier League, although it could be four by the time this game kicks off, and it’s hard to know which way this will fall for them after the draw on Wednesday.

I have watched Wolves play. They create chances, but they just can’t defend. So I’m going for a Liverpool win to -1 here.

Whenever Liverpool play, you have to back Mo Salah to score, but because he’s been so good, his price is so low, so I’ll back him to get two goals here.

Even with their talent up front in Matheus Cunha, I can’t see Wolves getting past this Liverpool defence. Everton had a bit of luck scoring twice on Wednesday, but the Reds will keep a clean sheet here. So, let’s go with Both teams to score? No.

4pm: Spurs v Man United

TV: Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Premier League

This game is a relegation six-pointer. 13th v 14th in the league, it’s impossible to predict how both teams will play.

It is a huge game for Ange Postecoglu after last week’s elimination from the Carabao and FA Cup. However, the head-to-head form is on his side in this fixture. Manchester United haven’t beaten Spurs in the last five meetings. So, I’m going to back a win for Tottenham.

Son Heung-Min has created the most chances for Spurs this season. Some of their fans say he’s passed his best, but I think he’ll stand up as captain in a game like this and grab a goal or assist.

The same goes for Bruno Fernandes for Manchester United; he’s the captain, and anything they create goes through him. So, I’ll go with him to score or assist, too.

Backing both of those, of course, means I also fancy both teams to score.

Finally, I’ll go with Manuel Ugarte to be carded. He’s on eight bookings so far this season, and this is a game where he’ll get stuck in.
