19:45 – Portsmouth v Cardiff City – Portsmouth to win

Portsmouth’s home record has been impressive in recent weeks, with the home side only suffering one loss in their last nine games at Fratton Park. The home side most recently recorded a draw against Burnley in their previous home game, winning four of their last six on home soil.

Cardiff City are winless in their last three matches away from home in the Championship, having drawn twice against the likes of Millwall (2-2) and Middlesbrough (1-1) and were the recipients of a 7-0 defeat at the hands of Leeds United in their most recent league outing.

The Bluebirds have not kept a clean sheet in their last four matches, conceding first in five of their previous seven games.

19:45 – Watford v Leeds United – Leeds to win

Watford has not won in their last four matches, drawing their last game against Sunderland (2-2) and suffering three consecutive defeats against Preston North End (1-2), Coventry City (2-1), and Norwich City (0-1). The Hornets have not won in their last four league games at Vicarage Road.

Leeds United are in excellent form in the Championship. They have not lost in the league since November and have won four of their last five league fixtures coming into this game. The visitors have recorded notable victories against Coventry City (0-2), Cardiff City (7-0), and Sheffield Wednesday (3-0).

 

19:45 – Coventry City v QPR – Coventry to win

Under Frank Lampard, Coventry City have performed exceptionally well at home. In their last six Championship home matches, they have only lost once. Furthermore, they have secured victories in four of those six games, with impressive wins over Plymouth Argyle (4-0), Watford (2-1), Bristol City (1-0), and Hull City (2-1).

QPR have lost two of their last four league matches against Millwall (2-1) and Sheffield Wednesday (0-2). The visitors have only won two of their last five fixtures away from home in the league, while the away side have also failed to keep a clean sheet in their last four games.

19:45 – Birmingham City v Cambridge United – Birmingham to win

Birmingham City impressed in their 3-2 home defeat against Premier League outfit Newcastle United and have an excellent home record in League One this season. They are also unbeaten at home this season, with 10 wins and three draws from 13 home games. The Blues have won four of their last five league matches.

Cambridge United have not won in their previous three league games, and the visitors have not kept a clean sheet in their last 16 matches. Away from home, Cambridge United have been poor, with only one win from 15 games on their travels and no wins away from home since October.

20:00 – Exeter City v Nottingham Forest – Nottingham Forest to win

Exeter City have suffered three consecutive losses coming into this game. The Grecians have also been winless in their previous five games and have not kept a clean sheet in their last 15. The home side have been poor defensively, conceding first in five of their last six matches in all competitions.

Nottingham Forest have been excellent away from home, with four wins from their last five matches on their travels. The visitors have recorded away victories against Wolves (0-3) and Everton (0-2) and most recently recorded a 7-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion.

The away side have scored first in eight of their previous nine matches.

20:00 – Juventus v PSV – Juventus to win

Juventus have won their previous two games coming into the game against PSV Eindhoven, against Como (1-2) and Empoli (4-1). The Old Lady were victorious in the recent meeting in this competition, with a 3-1 win in the league phase against the Dutch opposition.

PSV Eindhoven have only won once away from home in this competition this season, suffering two defeats against Stade Brestois 29 (1-0) and the aforementioned game against Juventus.

The visitors have suffered three defeats on the road in their last five matches, including two consecutive defeats against PEC Zwolle (3-1) and SC Heerenveen (1-0).

20:00 – Manchester City v Real Madrid – Man City to win

Manchester City scraped through in the Champions League with a 3-1 win against Club Brugge; however, in this competition, the Citizens have an excellent home record against Los Blancos. Manchester City have won the last three home meetings in this competition between the two teams.

Before this game, Real Madrid have only won once in their last three matches, following their 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti’s side has not kept a clean sheet in these last three matches or their previous nine meetings with Manchester City.

20:00 – Sporting CP v Borussia Dortmund – Sporting to win

Sporting CP are unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions and boast a tremendous home record of only one loss in their previous nine games on home soil. During this run, they have recorded notable victories against Benfica (1-0) and Porto (1-0).

Borussia Dortmund have not kept a clean sheet in their previous 13 matches in all competitions, and the visitors head into this game having just suffered a 2-1 home loss to VfB Stuttgart.

The visitors have also lost three of their previous five games away from home, including their most recent Champions League away fixture against Bologna (1-2).
