Premier League Tips: Joe Cole’s 13/1 & 9/1 Super Sunday shouts

The former Chelsea star has made his selections for Sunday

We have three mouthwatering Premier League matches this Sunday with plenty of big-hitters all in action across two timeslots.

Two games at 2pm, including Man United and Tottenham, precede the main event at The Emirates at 4:30pm of Arsenal v Man City.

Paddy Power pundit Joe Cole joined us recently to give us his best bets for every game. He has a couple of player picks in here, too, so Paddy’s Super Sub promotion will kick in if they’re replaced during the match, meaning the bet will carry over to their replacements.

I say it every week with Spurs; Both teams to score, but having said that they had a good result midweek. Three of their young players scored, and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was rocking.

You’re going to need to have a look at the teamsheet before this game. If Micky van de Ven plays for Spurs, I think you could back Spurs; he’s that important to the team. But, if he’s not playing, I’d go for Brentford, and I don’t think that Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is going to risk him, so I’d back Brentford.

Lucas Bergvall is an all-action midfielder, but he does put his foot in, and I can see him being carded.

I reckon it’ll be ending 2-1 to Brentford, and Bryan Mbeumo is top drawer for Brentford, averaging over two shots per game, and he takes their penalties, so back him to score.

Both teams had positive results during the week in Europe. It’s second versus fourth in the table, and the story this season has how much Man City has fallen off. Another factor here is how much of the tension midweek will have taken out of City.

Three of the last four meetings of those two have been draws, and I’m going to go with that again. They’re so evenly matched, and the managers know each other well. It’ll be a score draw, most likely ending 1-1.

I’d fancy Erling Haaland to score, too, and I like the look of him to have three or more shots too, as he’s been averaging four per game this season. Even at times, he’s looked somewhat out of games this campaign, he’s still managing to get his shots off.
