Liverpool have an excellent away record in the division, with Arne Slot’s side unbeaten away from home with eight wins and three draws. Liverpool are unbeaten in their previous five away Premier League matches, securing victories against Brentford (0-2), West Ham United (0-5) and Tottenham Hotspur (3-6).

Everton v Leicester City – Everton to win

Everton’s form has improved since David Moyes’s arrival. In his second spell as manager, the former West Ham United manager restored some faith at Goodison Park.

The Toffees are coming into this game with two consecutive wins against Brighton & Hove Albion (0-1) and Tottenham Hotspur (3-2), following David Moyes’ opening defeat against Aston Villa (0-1).

Leicester City’s recent away win against Tottenham Hotspur (1-2) ended a run of seven consecutive Premier League defeats.

During this unprecedented run of form for the home side, Newcastle United have recorded victories against Manchester United (0-2), Tottenham Hotspur (1-2), and Southampton (1-3).

Fulham need to improve their form. The visitors have only won once in their last five Premier League matches. The Cottagers’ win against Leicester City (0-2) was their only win in five. In their most recent games, they also lost to West Ham United (3-2) and Manchester United (0-1).

Derby County v Sheffield United – Sheffield United to win

Derby County have suffered seven consecutive losses in all competitions and six straight losses in the league. The Rams have also suffered three consecutive losses on home soil, with defeats against Watford (0-2), Sunderland (0-1) and Leeds United (0-1).

Portsmouth v Burnley – Burnley to win

Portsmouth have lost three of their last five league games, suffering defeats against the likes of Blackburn Rovers (3-0), Millwall (0-1) and West Bromwich Albion (1-5). The hosts have not kept a clean sheet in their previous seven games and have been susceptible defensively, conceding first in six of their last seven games.

Burnley have the best away record in the Championship, with only two losses from 15 league games on their travels. The Clarets are unbeaten in their last 17 matches in all competitions, with the visitors winning four of their previous five away from home in the Championship.

Burnley’s last away fixture resulted in a 5-0 demolition of Plymouth Argyle for the Clarets.
