Winner gets to keep Joe! Not only is Aston Villa v West Ham the Premier League‘s classic all-claret clash but it’s also a Coley derby as well.
Paddy’s football ambassador played for both so knows a thing or two about what’s going on at Villa Park and in the East End as well.
This should be a good clash and Joe’s been swotting up on the stats heading into the game with three of his five fancies covered by Paddy’s sublime Super Sub offer.
So, without further ado, who’s coming out on top in the Joe Cole Claret derby?

Aston Villa need to bounce back from their loss in Europe during the week. It was a difficult game in Monaco, I was covering it and they were below par.
West Ham haven’t kept a clean sheet in the last five so Graham Potter needs to work out what he’s going to do at the back. Aston Villa haven’t lost to West Ham in their last live meetings so can Potter change that as well?
Ollie Watkins is among it again so him to score is a good bet. I fancy Aston Villa to win this game, I think they’ll win this 3-1. I can’t see West Ham stopping Villa’s front three.
Watkins is averaging 3.3 shots per 90 minutes played so Watkins to have 3+ shots is a good bet. On the flip side, West Ham cannot stop people getting shots off, the defence doesn’t get tight enough.
Lukasz Fabianski is averaging 3.95 saves per game so he’ll be a busy boy and I’d imagine he’d make at least three.
Looking at the booking markets, I think it will be feisty in midfield and Edson Alvarez, he’s been laboured and late in the tackle. He’s been booked seven times already this year so he’s a good bet to pick up another.
I’m going to go for Aston Villa to win 3-1 with Watkins to score and have 3+ shots. I fancy Fabianski to make 3+ saves, he’s really overworked, and Alvarez to be booked as well.
