Saturday evening’s Premier League clash sees Arsenal welcome former manager Unai Emery back to take on his Aston Villa side at the Emirates. The hosts haven’t lost on home soil this season in the league while Villa have only won one of their last six away league encounters.
Top social media tipster Andy Robson thinks we’re in for a cracker. He’s got three player picks in here, too, all of which are covered by Paddy’s Super Sub offer, meaning if a player is substituted, the pick carries over to his replacement.

Arsenal to win
Going into the weekend’s fixtures, there’s no Premier League team better at home this season than Arsenal, who have won seven of their 10 fixtures at the Emirates Stadium and are still undefeated at the venue this term.
The Gunners come into this game on the back of a 2-1 midweek win over Tottenham, ending a three-game winless sequence.
Villa, meanwhile, have not impressed on the road. Indeed, they have lost every away game this season against a team currently in the top six, most recently going down 3-0 at Newcastle on Boxing Day.
Both teams to score: Yes
Arsenal’s defence might have been lauded earlier this season, but it’s struggled to keep clean sheets in recent games. Indeed, the Gunners have leaked in each of their last five outings and their only clean sheet in their last eight came against struggling Ipswich.
Villa come into this game with the second-poorest scoring record of any team in the top half of the table, but they have only been shut out once in their last eight top-flight games.
Emery’s side have the poorest defensive record of any side currently in the top 10, which points to the hosts getting on the scoresheet in a sixth consecutive league match.
Ollie Watkins to have 1 or more shots on target
Ollie Watkins was Villa’s match winner in midweek, and he appears primed to play a starring role for Emery at the Emirates. After all, he’s featured in every minute of the Villans’ last four matches.
The production of the England striker going forward is undoubted. He has at least one shot on target in nine of his last 10 starts for club and country, while in the Premier League this season, he averages 1.37 shots on target per 90.
He had one shot on target against Arsenal, when the sides met back in August, and hee scored at the Emirates last season in a 2-0 win.
Kai Havertz to have 1 or more shots on target
Mikel Arteta doesn’t have much choice but to start Kai Havertz as his No.9, meaning the German should get plenty of chances to hit the target in this outing.
Although he may be on a three-game scoring drought, the shots keep coming from the former Chelsea player, who has had at least one on target in each of his last seven appearances, as well as in 10 of his last 11 outings for the Gunners.
In last season’s home encounter with Villa, he managed a couple of shots on target, and he should be a big factor in this game.
Leandro Trossard to be fouled 1 or more times
With Arsenal’s attack depleted to such an extent, Kieran Tierney came on to play as a winger against Tottenham! Belgium international Leandro Trossard is being asked to step up and play a more prominent role than he’s been used to in recent months. That will continue against Villa.
He’s prolific in winning fouls for the Gunners. Drawn at least on free-kick in his last 10 starts for Arteta’s side, including two against Spurs. Villa right-back Matty Cash, meanwhile, has committed a foul in 12 of his 16 starts this season.
