Premier League Tips: Joe Cole’s 6/1 Tuesday night treble featuring Man City, Chelsea, and West Ham

The ex-Premier League midfielder has got you covered for a tasty Tuesday..

We are in for a treat with some league action on Tuesday as there are several Premier League games to watch, including Brentford v Manchester CityChelsea v Bournemouth, and West Ham v Fulham

Former West Ham and Chelsea forward and new Paddy Power pundit Joe Cole hopes there’s no hangover from the weekend FA Cup fixtures as he caught up with us to give us the lowdown on the three games, so let’s get straight into his tips.

Brentford will give Man City a difficult game. Thomas Frank changed a lot of personnel for Saturday’s FA Cup defeat to Plymouth, and they looked way off. Despite that result, they have done well this season, but I expect Man City to win this game.

Pep Guardiola’s side look to have ridden their brutal storm and come out the other side. Key players are beginning to return, and they built some confidence with an easy 8-0 win over Salford in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Although Brentford rested players at the weekend and will make things challenging for City, I see a win for the visitors.

Chelsea v Bournemouth

WHEN: Tuesday, January 14th, 19:30
WHERE: Stamford Bridge, Chelsea
TV: TNT Sports 3

Chelsea got the job done against Morecambe on Saturday despite a slow start. Joao Felix showed his quality and might have earned himself a start for this game, potentially on the left-hand side in a double-ten with Cole Palmer. Pedro Neto came off at halftime, so he should be fresh for this, too.

Bournemouth have several injuries, including Evanilson, which is a big blow for them as his pressing and physicality cause problems for the opposition’s defence, and he scores goals.

Chelsea will concede. Morecambe created chances on Saturday, so this could be a high-scoring game. However, I back Chelsea to have enough to win.

West Ham v Fulham

WHEN: Tuesday, January 14th, 19:30
WHERE: London Stadium, West Ham
TV: TNT Sports 4

The arrival of Graham Potter gives West Ham a chance for a new start. He’ll get them playing the right way, but the fans must be patient. There will be some teething problems changing to a new style, like with Julen Lopetegui, but Potter should give them a lift.

It could be a good night at the London Stadium on Tuesday. Both teams have quality, and Fulham will provide a solid first Premier League test for the new manager. It will be a tight game, but I will back West Ham to win.
