It’s not been good for Ange again this season, if anything, it’s falling to bits. It’s been very difficult, with an injury crisis, which has been dreadful for them particularly in defence.
They have been conceding goals with a makeshift back four and goal keeper, they’ve done a bit of business to get a new keeper in, but I still can’t look past Liverpool here.
They are so strong at the moment and they have been the story of the season so far under Slot. I felt they were a little complacent at the weekend against Man United, and that could be the only thing that stops them from winning the title, that potential for complacency.
However, they have got so many winners all over the pitch, with experienced players – I just think they will have too much for Spurs. But Ange wins trophies, doesn’t he? But I’m going to go Liverpool to win.
I’m also going for both teams to score – which is my standard bet with Tottenham – and with Mo Salah likely to be rested, I’m going for Cody Gakpo to step up and score for Liverpool.
