The FA Cup Third Round is upon us and it’s a bumper crop of games spread out on the box across five days. With so much action to pack in it’s only right that we got two-time FA Cup winner Joe Cole‘s esteemed view on all the biggest games.
First up on Thursday night there’s a banana skin on the horizon for Sean Dyche in the shape of Everton v Peterborough. So, how does Joe think this is going to go?

Peterborough to win
WHEN: Thursday, 7.45pm: FA Cup Third Round
WHERE: Goodison Park, Liverpool
TV: BBC Red Button, BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport Website
If you are looking for a punt on the incoming FA Cup games, this Peterborough team is as good as any to go for, and Sean Dyche will not be one bit interested in the FA Cup.
He’s got one job to do, one mandate to keep, and that is to keep Everton in the Premier League for next season. I would envisage a load of changes in the Everton team and they don’t have the strongest of squads.
A lot of the players coming in will not have played too much football this season as he doesn’t rotate much. If you can get a good price on Peterborough, I would go for it.
I really think there could be a shock here, particularly with the ongoing murmurings over Dyche’s future under the new owners, and the possibility for change. I think that would be a dreadful decision, but as it is, I think we have a chance for a real upset here.
