Football Accumulator Tips: Check out our 16/1 Premier League acca for the 3pm Sunday games

Sunday sees four Premier League games kick off at 3pm, and Oli Nixon has an acca for it

Now the turkey has settled, the family arguments are a thing of the past, and you’re putting off taking down those decorations, what better way to distract yourself than an accumulator across four Premier League fixtures on Sunday afternoon?

Our top tipster, Oli Nixon, has weighed up the odds and pulled together a smashing acca for the afternoon’s football.

All four selections also take advantage of Paddy’s Super Sub offer, so we can be safe in the knowledge that our bets will carry over to any replacements should our men be taken off.

Sunday’s Acca tips

Crystal Palace v Southampton – Paul Onuachu to commit 2+ fouls
Everton v Nottingham Forest – Morgan Gibbs-White to have 1+ shots on target
Fulham v Bournemouth – Alex Iwobi to have 1+ shots on target
Spurs v Wolves – Nelson Semedo to have 1+ shots

Crystal Palace v Southampton – Paul Onuachu to commit 2+ fouls

Ivan Juric likes a big man up top and so Paul Onuachu got just his second start of the season on Boxing Day. The clumsy Nigerian duly committed three fouls against West Ham to continue his trend of 3.12 fouls per 90 this season in the Premier League. His career average of 1.6 fouls per game for club and country suggests we can expect him to maintain these numbers, too.

Onuachu will be up against Palace’s defensive trio of Trevoh Chalobah, Marc Guehi, and Maxence Lacroix, who have drawn 2.54 fouls per 90 this season.

The last six starting strikers against Palace have combined for eight fouls between them, and with Onuachu’s physicality, hopefully, there’ll be a few flailing arms and late challenges.

Everton v Nottingham Forest – Morgan Gibbs-White to have 1+ shots on target

Central to Nottingham Forest’s Top 4 challenge this season has been midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, who has had an excellent season so far. The Englishman has averaged 0.98 shots on target per 90 and has hit the target at least once in five of his last six games.

Everton have allowed an average of 4.0 shots on target per game this season, whilst Forest average 4.5 per game themselves.

Gibbs-White’s shots on target have come from much tougher opponents than Everton, including having hit the target against Spurs, Villa, Man United, and Man City in recent weeks, so the opposition won’t phase him.

Fulham v Bournemouth – Alex Iwobi to have 1+ shots on target

Fulham’s good run of form sees them in the top 8, and of all the excellent work Marco Silva has done, perhaps the most impressive has been getting a tune out of Alex Iwobi. The winger has provided plenty of attacking threat this season, averaging 0.97 shots on target, managing 12 in his last 10 games.

Opponents Bournemouth are also having an excellent season but are giving up the 6th most shots on target in the Premier League at an average of 4.94 per game. The Cottagers hit the target 9 times across the two head-to-heads between these sides last season and, with their form, will be looking to attack this game again.

Alex Iwobi Player To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target

Spurs v Wolves – Nelson Semedo to have 1+ shots

Vitor Perreira has propelled Wolves out of the relegation zone in just two games after consecutive wins without conceding against Leicester and Man United.

Nelson Semedo has always provided plenty of threat going forward, and this looks no different under his new boss. He had a shot from range against Man United to add to his average of 0.55 shots per game, and having had a shot against Spurs in both meetings last season, he looks like a nice price to do so again.

Spurs under Ange Postecoglou are the gift that keeps on giving, and their defensive issues have been worsened further by Radu Dragusin’s injury and Djed Spence’s late red card.

Postecoglou has come under pressure for how gung-ho his tactics have been, and the Aussie’s stubborn approach has seen them conceding over 12 shots per game on home soil. With them looking susceptible to counterattacks, Semedo’s pace will mean he is in a great position to profit from Spurs’ all-out-attack set-up.
