Brentford have the best home record in the Premier League with seven wins and one draw from eight – following their 4-2 win against Newcastle United in their last home game.

Nottingham Forest have lost two of their last four away games and are winless in the previous six meetings against the hosts. The visitors have lost their last two trips to the GTECH Community Stadium (3-2 & 2-1), winning only once in their previous five visits to the hosts.

Ipswich vs Newcastle – Newcastle to win

Newcastle are in good form heading into this game, having lost only one of their last five games, winning two and drawing 3-3 with Liverpool. Ipswich Town, though, are still winless on home soil in the Premier League and have lost three of their last four at Portman Road.

The Tractor Boys have only gained four points on home soil this season, with two consecutive losses to Bournemouth (1-2) & Crystal Palace (0-1).

Burnley v Watford – Burnley to win

Burnley are unbeaten in their previous seven league games, as the Clarets have also kept five clean sheets in that run of games. The hosts are unbeaten at home this season, with two wins from their previous five league games against Coventry City (2-0) & Swansea City (1-0).

Despite being unbeaten in six, Watford’s away record is less than desirable, with one win in their last seven, following a 1-1 draw with Hull City.

Cardiff v Sheff United – Sheff Utd to win

Cardiff City have been in awful form over the last few weeks, with no wins in seven following their 2-2 draw with Stoke City. The Bluebirds have lost their previous three home games against the likes of Preston (0-2), QPR (0-2) & Blackburn Rovers (1-3).

Sheffield United have been in spectacular form as the league leaders are unbeaten in their last ten league games and have scored first in six of their previous seven. The Blades are unbeaten in five on their travels, following a 1-0 win away at Millwall.

Leeds v Oxford – Leeds to win

Leeds United have the best home record in the Championship, with nine wins, one draw and one loss from 11 games at Elland Road. Oxford United have one of the worst away records in the Championship, with no wins from nine, two draws and seven losses. The visitors have lost their last four consecutive away games without scoring.

Millwall v Blackburn – Blackburn to win

The hosts are winless in their last six games, having drawn three and losing their previous three consecutive games against Coventry City (0-1), Sheffield United (0-1) and 1-0 away at Middlesbrough.

Blackburn Rovers have been impressive in recent weeks, as the visitors have won their last six consecutive games in the Championship – including a 1-0 win over both Leeds United and Middlesbrough. The visitors are unbeaten in the last six meetings between the two sides.

Plymouth v Middlesbrough – Boro to win

Plymouth Argyle are winless in their previous six and have lost their previous four consecutive league games, following their 2-0 away defeat to league leaders Sheffield United.

Middlesbrough have won two of their last five away games in the Championship with victories over Oxford United (2-6) & QPR (1-4), having only suffered one defeat in five on their travels.
