Both teams to score, yes

Dinamo Zagreb have been on a bad run of form recently. The Croatian side has failed to win any of its last five fixtures. However, it has been decent enough in the Champions League. It has beaten both Slovan Bratislava and RB Salzburg, drawn with Monaco, and lost 0-3 to Borussia Dortmund.

They’ve scored five goals in their three home Champions League games this season, and with Celtic keeping just one clean sheet in their last ten in the competition, the Croats will be confident of scoring.

The Bhoys will surely score, too. Brendan Rodger’s side have bagged 14 over their last five in all competitions and 10 over their last five on the road.

Celtic to win

Indeed, Celtic should be bagging more than one here. Yes, yes, we know that their away Champions League record is muck, and has been muck for donkey’s years but they’ve facing a side here who are down on their luck and struggling to get wins on the board.

The Scottish side haven’t lost any of their last 14 games in all competitions and have scored at least two goals in 11 of those games. They’re certainly in better form here and should take the full points on offer.

Sandro Kulenovic to have 1+ shots on target

The host’s danger man is Sandro Kulenovic. He’s scored eight league games in 16 appearances, scoring one in one cup game but hasn’t been excellent in the Champions League, scoring five in his six matches. With an average of 1.3 shots per game in the Champions League, he should be testing out Kasper Schmeichel’s reflexes here.

Daizen Maeda to have 1+ shots on target

Celtic’s Japanese winger Daizen Maeda loves cup competitions. He’s bagged five goals for Celtic in the League Cup this season, as well as three in five in the Champions League. With an average of 1.2 shots per game in the Premiership and 1.6 in the Champions League, we’re happy to back him to have a pop over the 90 minutes.

Over 3.5 cards

It’s hard not to imagine Felix Zwayer taking a few bookings here. Zwayer has officiated in two previous Champions League games this season, giving out a whopping 10 cards over those two games.

The hosts have chalked up 16 cards over their last five at home, while Celtic picked up eight over their last 10 on the road.

There’s plenty on the line here, too. Dinamo has to go for broke as they have to take on both Arsenal and AC Milan in their remaining games. Should Celtic win, it’ll set them up nicely against Young Boys and Aston Villa, where four points might be enough to see them through.
