Everton meet Liverpool in what will be the final Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park on Saturday. The Toffees earned a stunning 4-0 over Wolves on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Ashley Young and Orel Mangala, as well as a brace of own goals by Craig Dawson.

Prior to that victory, Sean Dyche’s men had suffered defeats to Manchester United (4-0) and Southampton (1-0) on either side of 0-0 stalemates against both West Ham and Brentford.

Liverpool’s recent winning streak was halted via a 3-3 draw against Newcastle at St James’ Park in midweek. Arne Slot’s side have previously earned victories over Manchester City (2-0), Real Madrid (2-0), Southampton (3-2) and Aston Villa (2-0).

12.30pm: Leeds v Derby Leeds to win

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football

Leeds United versus Derby County is the next game on this Mega Acca with this being a battle of third against 15th in the Championship. The Elland Road club have won three of their last five matches, having beaten QPR (2-0), Swansea City (4-3) and Luton Town (3-0). Daniel Farke’s men have suffered two defeats in this run of results, though, losing via narrow 1-0 scorelines away at Millwall and Blackburn Rovers.

Derby are winless in their last four matches since beating Coventry City 2-1 on 6th November. Since then, the Rams have managed consecutive 1-1 draws with Plymouth Argyle and Preston North End before losing to Swansea City (2-1) and Sheffield Wednesday (2-1).

3pm: Barnsley v Birmingham: Birmingham to win

Barnsley against Birmingham City could be an intriguing League One match-up on Saturday. The Tykes sit eighth in the table, but, are without a win in their last five matches, having drawn with Cambridge United (1-1) and Reading (2-2) on either side of a 1-0 loss to Wigan Athletic.

Since the aforementioned results, Barnsley have been knocked out of the FA Cup on penalties by Bristol Rovers after a 0-0 draw prior to a 1-0 loss at Wrexham in midweek. Birmingham City look like they have recaptured their form, as following a 1-1 draw with Northampton Town and a shock 3-2 defeat to Shrewsbury, the Blues have earned solid wins over Exeter City (2-0), Blackpool (2-1) and Stockport County (2-0).

3pm: Burton v Wrexham: Wrexham to win

23rd-place Burton Albion faces off against second-place Wrexham on Saturday. The Brewers have actually managed two wins in their last five matches, following superb victories over Peterborough United (1-0) and Northampton Town (5-2) on either side of defeats to Stockport County (5-0), Charlton Athletic (1-0) and Tamworth (4-3 on penalties after a 0-0 draw).

Phil Parkinson’s side look to be getting back on track with their push for promotion, as following an EFL Trophy loss at Port Vale (3-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw) and a narrow defeat to Stockport County (1-0) at Edgeley Park, the Red Dragons have managed to record solid wins over Exeter City (3-0), Lincoln City (1-0) and Barnsley (1-0).

3pm: QPR v Norwich City: Norwich to win

23rd-place QPR goes up against ninth in the table Norwich City at Loftus Road. Norwich ended their three-game winless streak with thumping wins over Luton Town (4-2) and Plymouth Argyle (6-1). The Canaries had managed a 2-2 draw at West Brom after 2-0 defeats to Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday.

Barcelona, have endured a somewhat shaky period for the first time under Hansi Flick, however, they will hope that their recent 5-1 victory at Mallorca will set them up for another solid streak of form. La Blaugrana had suffered defeats to Las Palmas (2-1) and Real Sociedad (1-0) on either side of a 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo and a 3-0 home win over Brest.

5.30pm: Man Utd v Nott’m Forest: United to win

The other game in this sequence was managed by Ruud van Nistelrooy, seeing the Red Devils beat his current side Leicester City 3-0.

Nottingham Forest’s superb start to the season has somewhat slowed down, as following their 3-0 win over West Ham on 2nd November, they have suffered three defeats in their last four matches, losing to the likes of Newcastle (3-1), Arsenal (3-0) and Manchester City (3-0) while scraping a 1-0 home victory against Ipswich Town last weekend via a 49th-minute Chris Wood penalty.

The visitors have suffered defeats at the hands of Rennes (1-0), Reims (3-0) and Angers (1-0).

Second in the table, Real Madrid travels to eighth-place Girona in what could be a tricky test for Carlo Ancelotti’s side. Girona were dumped out of the Copa del Rey in midweek on penalties by UD Logrones after a 0-0 draw.

Prior to that result, the home side had drawn 2-2 with Villarreal after a 1-0 loss at Sturm Graz in the Champions League. Girona had managed to beat both Espanyol (4-1) and Getafe (1-0) in the run-up to the aforementioned results.

Real Madrid suffered a potentially damaging 2-1 loss at Athletic Club in midweek. Los Blancos entered that game with three wins from their last four matches, following victories over Osasuna (4-0), Leganes (3-0) and Getafe (2-0) while losing 2-0 at Liverpool on 27th November.
