I’m looking forward to this – a Friday night South Coast derby. Southampton were very good against Liverpool last weekend, you feared for Russell Martin’s team earlier on in the season with the way they play, but they are breaking through now in terms of performances.
However, getting results is something else, and it’s so difficult. Just four points on the board so far shows that and I can only see a Brighton win here.
Brighton just keep on matching forward, and I think they will be reasonably comfortable, so I’m going for Brighton to win and keep a clean sheet.
I think it will be a fairly run-of-the-mill game for Brighton, with not too many goals, so I’m backing Under 2.5 to be scored and I also Joao Pedro to find the back of the net – he’s a player that impresses me a lot.
