This weekend, we’ve got a whopper of a Super Sunday in the Premier League.
First up it’s Nottingham Forest v Newcastle at the City Ground before all eyes turn to Stamford Bridge for Chelsea v Arsenal.
Paddy Power pundit Joe Cole joined us recently to give us his best bets for Sunday’s action. He has a couple of player picks in here, too, so Paddy’s Super Sub promotion will kick in if they’re replaced during the match, and the bet will carry over to their replacements.

Nottingham Forest v Newcastle
WHEN: Sunday, November 10th, 14:00
WHERE: The City Ground, Nottingham
TV: Sky Sports Premier League & Sky Sports Main Event
Newcastle turned a corner last week with their win over Arsenal but Nottingham Forest are the story of the season so far. The way they play, they’re fantastic.
I have to go against the grain here. I don’t think there will be many goals, I can see it ending in a low-scoring 1-1 Draw. For the next few weeks, Newcastle are going to be quite stable and won’t be throwing so many bodies forward. They’ll stick to that after it working so well against Arsenal, particularly in the second half.
Forest do that anyway, so I can see a game unfold here where they’ve both going to try and catch the other one out.
Newcastle’s Alexander Isak to score is a great shout too, and Forest’s Chris Wood is a handful for anyone, and he’s in great form. For me, this is ending in a 1-1 Draw.
Chelsea v Arsenal
WHEN: Sunday, November 3rd, 16:30
WHERE: Stamford Bridge, London
TV: Sky Sports Premier League & Sky Sports Main Event
This is a crossroads game for Arsenal but I fancy Chelsea. The Gunners were really poor in last weekend’s game up at Newcastle. Martin Odegaard has been a huge miss for them, and there’s talk that Declan Rice might be back; he missed the loss away to Inter with a toe injury.
I’m going with Chelsea to win 3-1. Stamford Bridge will be rocking for this. I gauge how much the fans will be up for a game based on how many ticket requests I get and my phone has been going off this week, so the fans will really be up for it. Chelsea fans are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and they’ve finally seeing now that they have a real team on their hands.
Arsenal are on a wobble. If you don’t take your chances in football, and you don’t win trophies when you’re hot, it’s very, very difficult because there’s always a crisis around the corner. This is a big test for Mikel Arteta.
I’d back Cole Palmer to score, too, should he pass the fitness test, of course, he’s always on penalties and freekicks when he plays. For Arsenal, Bukayo Saka is carrying the can for them, he’s their threat and with Chelsea inverting their fullbacks, he can cause Chelsea problems. He always does down his side of the pitch so I’d fancy him to score for the Gunners.
