This is a huge game, and potentially more so for Aston Villa than for Liverpool, they’ve been delivering on what they’ve said they would do – but now they have had a few bad results.
They were poor the other night, it was a strange goal to concede, as they lost against Club Brugge. However, this is still a real test for Liverpool and I think Villa will be best sitting back and looking to use the counter attack.
Unai Emery has a situation where he needs to sort out what he’s going to do with Ollie Watkins and Jhon Duran. It was all rosy a few weeks ago with them rotating, but Duran is pushing to start, and Watkins is the established player.
I’m looking for a big result and I’m going for something to shake up the title race, I think Villa can bounce back and go to Anfield and win.
I know that’s a huge shout, but they’ve got pace on the break, and it could the type of game that works for Villa at the moment.
I’m also going for Duran to score, but I do think Liverpool will get a goal, and Mo Salah is always a good shout for a goal.
