Football Tips: Sunday’s 7/1 Multi-Match Bet Builder for the 2pm kickoffs

Our football tipster Sam Farley's gone looking for value in Sunday afternoon's match-ups.

Bournemouth v Arsenal Bet Builder tips, Saturday 19th October 2024

We’ve got three big games lined up for Sunday afternoon in the Premier League. We’ve have Spurs v Ipswich, Man United v Leicester and the televised game is Nottingham Forest v Newcastle at the City Ground.

Football tipster Sam Farley has gotten the old magnifying glass out and dove deep into the markets to find the best value picks for a Multi-Match Bet Builder.

Sam has a couple of player picks in here, too, so Paddy’s Super Sub promotion will kick in if they’re replaced during the match, and the bet will carry over to their replacements.

Sunday’s Multi-Match Bet Builder tips

Tottenham Hotspur v Ipswich
Dominic Solanke to score

Man United v Leicester City
Man United to win
Amad Diallo to be fouled 1+ times

Nottingham Forest v Newcastle
Under 2.5 goals
Joelinton to commit 1+ fouls in the first half

Spurs v Ipswich

WHEN: Sunday, November 3rd, 2pm
WHERE: The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London

Dominic Solanke to score

Heading into this game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium the visitors are in the relegation zone an worryingly have conceded the second most goals in the Premier League with 21, an average of 2.1 per game. They now face a Spurs team who beat Aston Villa last Sunday. More importantly, they face Dominic Solanke, a striker who is bang-in form.

After a relatively slow start to his career in North London he’s exploded in the past week. He scored twice in a man-of-the-match performance against Villa and even managed to score in a short cameo from the bench in the Europa League on Thursday night. He’ll be licking his lips at the Ipswich backline and has a great chance of finding the back of the net.

Man United to win

The Ruben Amorim era is yet to start at Old Trafford, but there are already some green shoots for their fanbase to hold onto. In this, Ruud van Nistelrooy’s last game as manager, they face a Leicester team that has won just two games all season. It’s also a team that Man United beat in the League Cup just days ago by a big 5-2 margin.

That win was one of two in a three-game unbeaten streak since Erik ten Hag left the club, with a draw against high-flying Chelsea and an impressive victory over PAOK in the Europa League. With players desperate to impress before the new manager arrives, we should see another big performance at Old Trafford.

Amad Diallo to be fouled 1+ times

The star of that 2-0 win over PAOK on Thursday night was Amad Diallo, with the Ivorian reminding everyone, not least Amorim, that he’s a hugely talented player and still just 22 years old. He will obviously get plaudits for the two goals he scored, goals that’ll get him the start in this game, but there was more to his performance than that.

He’s a good dribbler of the ball, direct, and can carry the ball forward in a way that not many in the United squad can’t.

That danger scares defences and we saw him cut down on Thursday night. He’s averaged 1.5 fouls per game in Europe and while his Premier League numbers are lower, mostly because of playing time, he should get fouled here.

Nottingham Forest v Newcastle

Under 2.5 goals

Somehow Nottingham Forest enter this weekend third in the Premier League. It’s not a position that they’ll end the season in but they’ve been very effective. They’ve done this not through scoring lots of goals but keeping them out, with their seven goals conceded being the second fewest in the Premier League.

It’s not just Nuno Espirito Santo’s team, this Newcastle team have only allowed 10 and have the third best defensive record in the Premier League. That sets us up for a low-scoring game, and Under 2.5 goals has been a winning bet in 80% of Forest’s home games this season, as well as 60% of Newcastle matches.

Joelinton to commit 1+ fouls in the first half

Our final leg in the Bet Builder sees us backing one of the Premier League’s most prolific foulers to commit a foul within the first 45 minutes of the match. That player is, of course, Newcastle’s Joelinton.

The Brazilian leads the Premier League in terms of fouls committed with 24, an average of 2.4 per game. In a tough game against a solid, hard-working Forest team, he’s going to need to be at his best. With that in mind, we’re probably going to see him commit an early foul as Newcastle battle for supremacy.
