Joe Cole fancies a Foden-festa in Lisbon!

Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim finds himself with a perfect chance to win over some Manchester United fans on Tuesday night – without actually setting foot in Old Trafford.

As part of the deal to take him from Lisbon to Manchester, Amorim will remain in charge of Sporting until the November international break, which pits him against Pep Guardiola in his final home game.

A Sporting Lisbon v Man City clash in the UEFA Champions League may not feel like a big deal for the Red Devils, but eager United supporters will be tuning in, to cheer on their new boss against their fierce rivals.

With plenty at stake in this game, former Premier League star Joe Cole is on prediction duty with a four-fold Bet Builder, for this key clash.

Sporting v Man City Bet Builder tips

Man City to win
Both teams to score: No
Phil Foden to score anytime

WHEN: Tuesday 5th of November, 8pm
WHERE: Estadio Jose Alvalade, Lisbon
TV: TNT Sports 1

Defeat at the weekend for Man City was a bit of a shock, but Bournemouth is a tough place to go, as teams are finding out. I watched Chelsea win away there earlier this season, and I was really impressed with them, and they got a great result against City.

However, I do fancy City to bounce back, starting in this game. It’s very rare that City go two or three games without picking up a result.

Sporting are obviously dealing with the news of Amorim leaving, and that’s a strange situation for them to deal with, as he’s so pivotal to what they do.

I think Man City will just have too much and they will get the win here. I also fancy them to keep a clean sheet too, they have not conceded in the Champions League this season, and that is crucial.

Man City Match Odds

They have made mistakes in recent league games, and I’ve never seen them concede so many chances, so I imagine Pep will be really hammering home on improving that, so I expect them to keep a clean sheet.

7/5
No Both Teams To Score

I liked the look of Phil Foden over the weekend, I thought he looked sharp against Bournemouth, even though he’s not having the season start he would love to, but I fancy him to score in this game.
