Hoffenheim v St. Pauli – Hoffenheim to win
The first game on this Mega Acca sees 15th-place Hoffenheim go head-to-head with 16th-place St. Pauli.
Hoffenheim have found some form of late. Following their 1-1 draw with Stuttgart in early October, they have managed 3-1 and 2-1 victories against Bochum and Nurnberg on either side of a 2-0 away defeat at Porto and a hard-fought 0-0 stalemate at Heidenheim.
St. Pauli were knocked out of the DFB Pokal in midweek after a heavy 4-2 loss at RB Leipzig. In the run-up to that game, they had drawn 0-0 at home with Wolfsburg after suffering 2-1 and 3-0 defeats to Borussia Dortmund and Mainz.
Bournemouth v Manchester City – Manchester City to win
The Premier League champions Manchester City travel to the Vitality Stadium, where they’ll face AFC Bournemouth.
Andoni Iraola’s side earned a late 1-1 draw against Aston Villa at Villa Park last time out, thanks to a 96th-minute header from Evanilson. Before that game, the Cherries had beaten Arsenal 2-0 after suffering 1-0 and 3-0 defeats to Leicester City and Liverpool on either side of a thumping 3-1 home victory over local rivals Southampton.
City suffered a 2-1 defeat away at Tottenham Hotspur in the Fourth Round of the League Cup on Wednesday night. However, in the run-up to that game, Pep Guardiola’s men had beaten Southampton 1-0, Sparta Praha 5-0, Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 and Fulham 3-2.
Liverpool v Brighton – Liverpool to win
Liverpool and Brighton meet for the second time this week after playing out a five-goal thriller in Wednesday night’s League Cup action.
Arne Slot’s men emerged as 3-2 victors at the Amex Stadium on Wednesday, as Cody Gakpo (2) and Luis Diaz were on target for the Reds. Before their League Cup tie, Liverpool had played out an exhilarating 2-2 draw with Arsenal after earning 1-0 wins over RB Leipzig and Crystal Palace on either side of a 2-1 home victory against Chelsea.
Brighton’s three-game unbeaten run ended with their loss to Liverpool in the EFL Cup. Fabian Hürzeler’s side drew 2-2 with Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend after stunning 1-0 and 3-2 wins over Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.
Hull City v Portsmouth – Hull City to win
In the Championship, 15th-place Hull City goes up against bottom-of-the-table Portsmouth on Saturday.
The Tigers are on a four-game winless run. However, they have managed solid 1-1 draws against Derby County and Burnley in their last two outings following 1-0 and 4-0 defeats to Sunderland and Norwich. Hull’s last league victory came on 1st October when they beat QPR 3-1 at Loftus Road.
Portsmouth have only managed one win in their last five league fixtures, with John Mousinho’s side’s sole victory also coming against QPR via a 2-1 scoreline on 19th October.
Pompey had suffered a 6-1 loss at Stoke in the run-up to that victory and managed a 1-1 draw with Oxford. However, they have been defeated by Cardiff City 2-0 and Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 since then.
Leeds United v Plymouth Argyle – Leeds United to win
Leeds United hosts Plymouth Argyle at Elland Road in a battle between third and 21st in the Championship.
Daniel Farke’s side are unbeaten in their last five matches. However, three of these results have been 1-1, 2-2 and 0-0 draws with Norwich City, Sunderland and Bristol City, while the other two matches in this sequence have resulted in 2-0 and 2-1 victories over Sheffield United and Watford.
Plymouth have accumulated just four points from their last five matches, with Wayne Rooney’s men suffering 1-0 and 5-0 defeats to Burnley and Cardiff City on either side of a 2-1 home win against Blackburn Rovers before a 1-0 loss at Millwall and a dramatic 3-3 draw with Preston North End.
QPR v Sunderland – Sunderland to win
League leaders Sunderland makes the trip to 23rd-place QPR in what is expected to be a mismatch.
QPR have not won in their last five outings. Prior to 0-0 and 1-1 draws with Burnley and Coventry City, the hosts suffered 2-1, 2-0 and 3-1 defeats to Portsmouth, Derby County, and Hull City.
Sunderland are in red-hot form, having earned 13 points from their last five league fixtures. Following their 2-0 win over Derby County and 2-2 home draw with Leeds United, the Black Cats have gone on to beat Hull City 1-0, Luton Town 2-1, and Oxford United 2-0.
Girona v Leganés – Girona to win
In La Liga, 13th-place Girona takes on 14th-place Leganés at Estadi Montilivi.
Girona have won three of their last five matches across all competitions, beating Athletic Club 2-1, Slovan Bratislava 2-0 and Extremadura 1924 4-0 while narrowly losing to both Real Sociedad and Las Palmas via 1-0 scorelines.
Leganés are on a two-game winning run following much-needed 2-1 and 3-0 victories over Ciudad de Lucena in the Copa del Rey and Celta Vigo in La Liga. In the run-up to the aforementioned matches, the visitors had suffered a 3-1 defeat to Atlético Madrid after drawing 0-0 and 1-1 with Valencia and Rayo Vallecano.
PSG v Lens – PSG to win
A heavyweight clash occurs in Ligue 1 as top-of-the-table PSG and fifth-place Lens meet at the Parc des Princes.
Luis Enrique’s side have won two of their last three league matches. Following their 1-1 draw at Nice, the champions have earned vital 4-2 and 3-0 victories over Strasbourg and Marseille.
Lens have won just one of their last five matches, drawing 1-1, 0-0, and 2-2 with Rennes, Nice, and Strasbourg. They beat Saint-Étienne 2-0 before their 2-0 home defeat to Lille.
Udinese v Juventus – Juventus to win
Udinese versus Juventus promises to be an intriguing Serie A match-up between the 7th and 4th-placed teams in the standings.
The home side have managed just two wins from their last five matches, earning narrow 1-0 and 2-0 victories over Lecce and Cagliari while suffering 3-2 defeats to both Inter Milan and Venezia, on top of a 1-0 loss at the hands of AC Milan.
Juventus were recently held to a 2-2 home draw by Parma after playing out a thrilling 4-4 draw with Inter Milan at the San Siro. These results came after the Old Lady suffered a 1-0 Champions League defeat to Stuttgart after a 1-0 home win over Lazio.
AC Monza v AC Milan – AC Milan to win
The final game on this Mega Acca comes from Serie A as AC Milan look to re-find their form when they visit 17th-place Monza.
Monza have won just one of their last five matches heading into this fixture, having suffered 2-0 defeats to Napoli and Atalanta while managing 1-1 and 2-2 draws with Roma and Venezia. The home side’s sole victory came between the aforementioned draws, as they earned an emphatic 3-0 win at Hellas Verona on 21st October.
AC Milan have won two of their last three matches, but are eighth in the table. The Rossoneri beat Udinese 1-0 and Club Brugge 3-1 before their recent 2-0 home defeat to league leaders Napoli.
