We don’t have any Premier League MNF to enjoy on Monday so instead the focus is on Blackpool v Wigan in League One.
It’s 18th v 19th with both sides losing their last five games combined but will either team show enough quality to secure a crucial three points?
Our tipster James Walters has had a look at the markets to see where the value lies. Here’s our three best bets!
Blackpool v Wigan Tips

Lee Evans to have 2 or more shots
We’re heading to the player markets for our first selection and we like the look of Blackpool’s Lee Evans to have 2 or more shots.
The ex-Wigan man will be up for Monday night’s clash against his former side and although he has only scored once in his first 11 League One appearances this season, he’s been shoot on sight.
Evans, who is all action as you can tell by his one goal, five assists and five yellow cards so far this campaign, has had two or more shots in six of his last eight league games.
The beauty of just backing shots and not shots on target is the efforts can go out for a throw in or row Z and the bet will land!
Kyle Joseph to score
Our next value selection is Kyle Joseph to score.
The Blackpool forward has already netted six times in 12 League One appearances this season and he’ll be confident of adding to his tally against a Wigan team struggling for confidence.
Joseph has had at least two shots in 10 of his 12 outings and he comes into Monday’s clash on the back of him netting in Blackpool’s 5-1 defeat at Peterborough.
He’s only one goal behind joining Kwame Poku, Lee Gregory and Louie Barry as the top scorers in League One this season. He’s worth backing to net once again.
Correct score: 1-1
Finally, our bigger-priced punt is Correct score: 1-1.
Both of these sides are struggling to find form, with Blackpool losing their last three and Wigan losing their previous two outings.
While Blackpool’s games have had plenty of goals – they’ve scored 19 and conceded 23 in 12 games – Wigan’s goal statistics are poor.
Shaun Maloney’s side have scored 10 and conceded just nine in 12 outings this season and Wigan will shut up shop on Monday as they look to end their losing streak.
While Blackpool are probably the most likely winners, there’s value in having a little go on the draw. We’re not expecting goals so 1-1 will do us!
