Arsenal are struggling with injuries and suspensions going into Sunday clash with Liverpool and Peter Crouch is backing the Reds to take advantage

What a Premier League weekend we have in store with Arsenal hosting Liverpool the stand out fixture on Sunday

Peter Crouch stooped in under the door frame at Power Tower this week to deliver his best bets for Arsenal v Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Arsenal v Liverpool Betting Tips

Liverpool to win
Mo Salah to score
Kai Havertz to have 1+ shots on target
Ryan Gravenberch to commit 1+ fouls

WHEN: Sunday, October 27 – 4:30pm
WHERE: The Emirates Stadium, London
TV: Sky Sports Main Event, Premier League

No one could’ve anticipated the start Liverpool have had this season after the exit of Jurgen Klopp. Arne Slot’s done a tremendous job coming in.

I like everything I’ve seen about him so far – I like him, I like the way they are playing.

They got another win against Chelsea last week, and Liverpool weren’t at their complete best but still got the job done with another very professional performance. They were very efficient. Even when they’ve not played fantastically well. and there have been games where they have struggled, but they still came through and won.

That’s the mark of a great side, winning when you’re not at your best. And it shows a strong mentality too.

And he sees that and is critical even after wins. I’ve spoke to him after games and he’s been very critical sometimes of performances. He still thinks there are levels they can still got to.

At times they’re breathtaking, but at times they haven’t played at their best too.

The biggest test so far was Chelsea last week and they came through that. Arsenal this week will be another step up.

They are going through a tough time with injuries and William Saliba’s suspension but, along with Man City, they’ve been the best sides in the league over the last couple of years and this will really push Liverpool.

Saliba alongside Gabriel has probably been the best defensive partnership in the Premier League of the last season, so breaking that up is a really big miss for Arsenal.

It also takes away from their set-piece threat as it’s difficult to contain both him and Gabriel from corners and free-kicks.

Arsenal also lost last week at Bournemouth and they really will not want to drop more points as title aspirations can fade away with a few poor results given the standards Man City have set in the past – you lose two or three games in succession and you’re going to struggle.

They’re still a very good side even if they’re missing some big players – in addition to Saliba, Riccardo Calafiori’s now hurt and Jurrien Timber’s a doubt at the back too, while obviously Martin Odegaard is missing and Bukayo Saka’s not certain to play either.

They’ll still carry a huge threat though, and if Liverpool do not play to the top of their ability then they’ll come unstuck.

Liverpool to win

But I have faith in this Liverpool side to do just that and win on Sunday.

Mo Salah’s relentless, Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo have both looked good, whichever one plays, Darwin Nunez got a goal during the week and they’ve got so many playing so well at the moment. Ryan Gravenberch is really doing well, they’re sold defensively too.

I see a couple of goals here for them and it’ll be enough to edge it in my view.

Mo Salah to score

Mo Salah will be at the front of it. I picked him to score last week against Chelsea and he did so I’ll go for him again in this game.

Kai Havertz to have 1+ shots on target

Bukayo Saka would be my first preference for a goal or a shot on target for Arsenal, but with his fitness in doubt I’ll go for Kai Havertz to test Caoimhin Kelleher in Liverpool’s goal.

Ryan Gravenberch to commit 1+ fouls

Alexis Mac Allister would be an option as he likes a tackle and got a yellow card for a naughty one last week, but Ryan Gravenberch has consistently given up fouls this season, so I’ll go for him to commit at least one foul in a game that’s going to be very tightly fought.
