Tuesday’s Goalscorers Treble

8pm – Real Madrid v Borussia Dortmund – Serhou Guirassy to score

Real Madrid v Borussia Dortmund

Bernabeu Stadium, 8pm
TV: TNT Sports 2

After his breakout season at Stuttgart last term, Serhou Guirassy is beginning to find his feet at his new club. The Guinea international has scored four goals in five games, the most recent being the winner against St Pauli on Friday night.

It will be tough for Dortmund to lay a glove on Madrid in the Bernabeu, but the hosts are susceptible at the back. They have kept only one clean sheet in the last seven, including a 1-0 defeat to Lille last time in the Champions League.

If the visitors are to score, their top scorer will be the most likely to deliver.

Arsenal v Shakhtar Donetsk

Emirates Stadium, 8pm
TV: Amazon Prime Video

Raheem Sterling to Score

With Bukayo Saka still a doubt through injury, Chelsea loanee Raheem Sterling will likely get another chance to start for Arsenal on Tuesday. The winger hasn’t had the best start to life in North London, but his best opportunity to get his first goal will come against Shakhtar.

The Ukrainian side lost 3-0 at home to Atalanta last time out in the Champions League. They faced 22 shots to their six, and against an Arsenal side with a point to prove after the 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth, it could be another long night for the visitors.

Aston Villa v Bologna

Villa Park, 8pm
TV: TNT Sports 1

Jhon Duran to Score

You will be remiss not to back Jhon Duran to score for any Aston Villa game. The Colombian international has found the back of the net seven times this season, with a catalogue of screamers to choose from. His goal against Bayern Munich last time in Europe secured a memorable victory for the Villans.

Their Italian opponents didn’t enjoy their last trip to England, falling 2-0 to Liverpool. They can be a stubborn team to break down with two 0-0 results in their last five games. If they’re similarly complex during their trip to Villa Park, the hosts may need another strike from nowhere from their young talisman.
