This Super Sunday, the Premier League has a real treat for us after the international break. First up is Wolves v Man City before the game of the weekend in Liverpool v Chelsea
Paddy Power pundit Joe Cole is back with his best bets and he has a few player picks in here, too, so Paddy’s Super Sub promotion will kick in if they’re replaced during the match and the bet will carry over to their replacements.

Wolves v Man City
WHEN: Sunday, October 20th, 14:00
WHERE: Molineux, Wolverhampton
TV: Sky Sports Premier League & Sky Sports Main Event
Manchester City will travel to Wolves on Sunday, and I can’t see anything but a comfortable win for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Gary O’Neill has lost his best players, and he was already performing miracles there. Now, they’re really struggling, and they haven’t won a game so far this season in the league.
City will go there and cruise to victory. Instead of backing them to win, I like them on the -1 handicap, meaning they must win by two or more goals. They’re starting to get into one of their spells where they win 10 or 11 games on the bounce. They’re in that rhythm.
Both teams to score: No is also a smart selection. I can’t see Wolves causing City many problems!
Jack Grealish to score is my last pick. He played well and scored well against Finland for England, but he needs to start getting more goals. He can do that against this struggling Wolves side.
Liverpool v Chelsea
WHEN: Sunday, October 20th, 14:00
WHERE: Anfield, Liverpool
TV: Sky Sports Premier League & Sky Sports Main Event
I’m struggling to pick a winner for Sunday’s showdown. My heart is saying Chelsea, but I’ll go with the draw. It’s Liverpool’s first real test in the league and I can see this finishing level.
I expect Chelsea to perform. They’re starting to hit a rhythm and impressing so far this season, and I’m all over both teams to score. There is too much firepower on the pitch for there not to be goals!
I also like a couple of goalscorer bets in Cole Palmer to score and Cody Gakpo to score.
Palmer has already scored six times in seven league games and added five assists, so we know he will turn up for Chelsea’s big games.
I like what Gakpo is doing for Liverpool. He’s starting to hit form for the Reds, and he can get on the scoresheet for Arne Slot’s side.
