Austria to win
Our Sunday evening Nations League Multi Match Bet Builder gets underway with an interesting-looking Austria v Norway clash. The hosts were impressive at the Euros, with manager Ralf Rangnick rehabilitating his reputation after a poor spell at Manchester United.
They are in slightly shaky form now, winning one of their last four matches, the 4-0 demolition of Kazakhstan last time out. Norway beat them up near the Artic circle just last month, winning 2-1.
I fancy a reverse here though. Norway have won their last two but drew 0-0 with the Kazaks before that and also lost 3-1 to Denmark. The Norwegians have some good players, and we’ll get to one of them next, but with Martin Odegaard out and Austria having home advantage I’ll side with Rangnick’s crew.
Erling Haaland to score
Norway are decent going forward though and they’ve scored in all-bar one of their last nine games. That’s down, in no small part, to Manchester City’s giant goal robot Erling Haaland.
He’s got three in his last two for his country. Look, need we say anymore? Haaland is a brilliant price to score anytime in this game. Sometimes it’s just not rocket science!

The Draw
We’re off to the Faroe Islands next where Latvia are the visitors. These two met in the 2020 Nations League and shared two 1-1 draws. Since then Latvia have taken the upper hand in this titanic tussle with successive 1-0 wins.
Those were both in eastern Europe though and the Faroes have never lost to Latvia at home out there in the middle of the frozen ocean. These two are not particularly good and they share three wins in their last 22 games combined and one of those was Latvia’s win over their hosts last month.
This could well be another draw, all three of these games in the Islands have all ended level and there isn’t much form to suggest we won’t get a fourth in a row.
Under 2.5 goals
We’re racking up some stonking value in this multi match Bet Builder so we’ll finish with something a little more miserly in terms of prices. Under 2.5 goals is a bet that’s landed in all seven of these two’s meetings through the annuls of time.
