Sunday’s Scottish Premiership offering begins with Celtic travelling to Ross County. With Brendan Rodgers’ Bhoys suffering a 7-1 hammering away to Borussia Dotmund in the Champions League on Tuesday night, a response will be expected.
While it was misery for Celtic in midweek, it was joy for Twitter’s top tipster, Andy Robson, who correctly picked out a 10/1 shot on the game.
He’s dived back into the stats and form for both sides to find five value picks for a five-legged Bet Builder. Let’s get into his Ross County v Celtic betting tips.

Celtic -1
Expect Celtic to bounce back from their midweek thumping at the hands of Borussia Dortmund with a comfortable victory against Ross County in Dingwall.
The Hoops have a perfect record so far domestically, and they have been particularly impressive in the Premiership. They have played six league games, winning all of them by at least two goals and not conceding a single one.
Ross County, meanwhile, have suffered only one home defeat this season, but that came at the hands of Aberdeen, who also boasts a perfect record. A 6-0 loss away to Rangers, meanwhile, does not auger well for the Victoria Park side here.
Ross County to receive most cards
Ross County are not a particularly dirty team, but at home against Celtic, they are more than likely to receive more cards than their guests.
Much of this is due to the fact that Celtic have picked up only eight bookings this season and not a single red card. Half of these came against Rangers in the Old Firm game, while they have consistently picked up only one card per game otherwise.
County, by contrast, have received at least two cards in all but one of their Premiership fixtures to date this season.
Ross County 3+ cards
In their toughest games this season, Ross County have tended to give away more cards, although not necessarily more free kicks.
Don Cowie’s side have collected three cards in their clashes against Celtic’s top-three rivals Rangers and Aberdeen, while they were shown four cards when they went to Hearts last weekend. The Edinburgh side are struggling but finished a comfortable third last season.
Celtic’s opponents, meanwhile, have seen at least two cards in four of their six league clashes, but with the Hoops no doubt seeking to be ruthless after a 7-1 chastening, increased effort levels could see a higher count.
Kacper Lopata to be shown a card
On-loan Barnsley defender Kacper Lopata has yet to really get to grips with the game in Scotland since arriving in August and being dropped immediately into the starting XI because of injury issues.
The centre-back has already been booked three times in four matches for Ross County, despite only committing five fouls across these games.
An imposing player physically, he will be tasked with keeping tabs on Kyogo Furuhashi, who is a renowned speed merchant at the forefront of the Celtic attack. Just one wrong move from the Pole could see him wind up in trouble once again.
Celtic 8+ corners
Celtic look strong value when it comes to the corner count, with Brendan Rodgers’ side the dominant force in this regard in Scottish football.
The Hoops average 8.33 corners overall this season, but when travelling away from home, they are hitting 9.33 on average. Ross County, meanwhile, are regularly giving up these situations in their home matches.
Cowie’s side has given up an average of 7.0 corners per game across their four matches to date, and they have not even played Rangers or Celtic in these games yet. When they face these clubs, look for this tally to rise substantially starting on Sunday.
