AC Milan’s Serie A and UEFA Champions League form continues to be night and day this season as Paulo Fonseca settles in at the San Siro.
Defeat at Bayer Leverkusen in midweek means they have lost their opening two European games but have won three-in-a-row on the domestic front.
Fiorentina have showed signs of improvement, and they have only lost one of their six Serie A games this season, on the road at Atalanta.
The most likely call in this game, is for both teams to get on the scoresheet. Fiorentina have netted in four of their five home games in all competitions in 2024/25 and AC Milan’s loss in Leverkusen ended a seven-game streak of scoring in each match.
Nice v PSG

PSG return to Ligue 1 action on Sunday night after losing 2-0 away at Arsenal in the Champions League.
The Parisians will be confident of getting back on the winning trail, with five wins and a draw in league action so far this season, and Nice have won just one of their last five in all competitions.
Ousmane Dembele to score or assist
Luis Enrique’s tiff with Ousmane Dembele was the key pre-game talking point as PSG landed in London in midweek. A row between the pair saw the France international remain behind in Paris as the boss put his foot down.
The duo have since kissed and made up, and Demebele has reportedly apologised to the squad, ahead of the weekend trip to Nice.
He is expected to come back into the starting XI, and with four goals and three assists already in Ligue 1 this season, he will be out to prove a point.
Real Sociedad v Atletico Madrid

Both teams might be feeling a little bruised as Atletico Madrid head to the Basque Country to face Real Sociedad.
La Real lost 2-1 at home to Anderlecht in midweek Europa League duties as Diego Simeone’s team were thrashed 4-0 at Benfica in the Champions League.
Real Sociedad have only won one of their four home league games this season, and Atletico Madrid have won two from four on the road, so a result pick is tricky.
Goals should be a feature though, as Simeone’s charges have scored in all four of those away league ties, and Real Sociedad have only missed the net once in their own four home clashes.
Antoine Griezmann to score or assist
This game always has an Antoine Griezmann derby feel about it as the France star made his name with La Real before his first move to Madrid.
Since returning for a second spell in the capital, Griezmann has continued to cause problems for his old team, with two goals in his last four games against them.
With no international duty next week, he can hit the gas, and he is Atletico Madrid’s top goal and assist combined leader, with five so far this season.
