We’ve got three fixtures in the Premier League this Sunday and our tipster is looking at Chelsea hosting Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have only lost twice this season, and under the tutelage of Enzo Maresca, look to be getting back to their best. Their opponents won’t be shy of getting stuck in at the Bridge. They’ve only lost once so far this campaign and are actually undefeated over their last five away league fixtures – including a win at Anfield over Liverpool.
Andrew Cunneen has studied the markets to find a value four-legged Bet Builder. Let’s get into his Chelsea v Nottingham Forest betting tips.
One more thing, two of Andrew’s player picks fall under Paddy’s Super Sub promotion, meaning the pick carries over to a players’ replacement should he come off – something that stung Paddy’s traders to the tune of £1.6MILLION last weekend. Ouch.

Chelsea to win
I love this Chelsea team. And that’s an odd thing to say for several reasons.
One: well, nobody really loves Chelsea.
And two: because their manager, Enzo Maresca, came from Leicester, took over a dressing room full of mercenaries, and is now in the beginning of imposing his ideals. He’s very happy to be aggressive, to throw caution to the wind, and, most importantly, to make players uncomfortable.
I’d be slightly concerned about Chelsea’s fatigue levels if they had been playing away on Thursday, but they’re hosting Gent in a competition that’s theoretically below them, so no fear there. It’s probably gone a little bit unnoticed because of just how much people predicted them to implode or have fallen for the Pep Guardiola v Mikel Arteta narrative again, but this Chelsea team have started about as well as any.
If they hadn’t played City on opening day, we’d be having a very different discussion about them.
Both teams to score, yes
Chelsea’s last home clean sheet was in May. They’re trying to be compact on the road, which is obviously a plus, but they’re really struggling to put on a show at home and keep everything in front of them at the same time.
In a way it feels like they’re removed from the task. They should be content with winning, but Chelsea always feel like they need to put on a show in front of people to justify how much they’re spending.
My advice would be to simply win games of football so you don’t need to lower yourself to participate in the same competition as Northern Ireland’s Larne and Wales’ The New Saints.
This element of being entertaining has really taken them over, and Nottingham Forest had scored in every single league game this season up until last weekend. They’re familiar with scoring goals in games where they create next to nothing.
Cole Palmer anytime goalscorer
Cole Palmer gets a bit of a hard time. And, I reckon the only reason he doesn’t get a worse time of it is because people aren’t completely convinced he’s actually fully aware of his surroundings in a given moment.
It’s as if God had placed footballing ability in the wrong person because his personality does not quite match how smart he is on the ball. We probably need to start discussing him as one of the best players in the world, and I’ll be sticking by him when he’s in this form.
Marc Cucurella to be shown a card
Marc Cucurella is a decent player, but his adaptation to a manager who wants him to drift inside to be an option in central areas while also maintaining width when required still isn’t coming naturally to him.
It’s probably bad process to back the most booked player in the league to be booked, as averages generally even out, but he’s in a tough situation with too many plates to keep spinning, and those yellow cards are a byproduct of that.
