Porto v Man Utd tips: Joe Cole’s got a 17/1 shout for Thursday’s Europa League tie

Coley thinks it's going for bad to worse for United.

It never rains but it pours for under pressure Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag. Fresh off the back of a 3-0 home hammering by Tottenham, yes Tottenham, at the weekend it’s a tricky away day to Porto on the menu next.

This Porto v Manchester United game feels like a Champions League fixture but in 2024/25 it’s a Europa League clash and Joe Cole is here to deliver his wisdom on this tasty match up. Paddy’s big signing is in fine form and he’s been landing some big calls.

Bournemouth’s 3-1 win over Southampton on Monday night saw the second of his three NAPs landing so far and he also picked the 3-1 home win as well. He’s a man in form and he’s backing another big score… but not one that United fans will like.

Porto to win 3-1

WHEN: Thursday 3rd of October, 8pm
WHERE: Estádio do Dragão, Porto
TV: TNT Sports 2

The problem for Manchester United coming to town, even though they are a wounded animal, their name is still Manchester United.

Porto will be well up for it, the manager, the players, the fans – everyone!

The whole place is a cauldron, I’ve played there, it’s a tough place to go so I can only see a Porto win.

I fancy them to win by a couple of goals to be honest and I’d go 3-1 to Porto.
