The forward goes into this massive test in fine form after scoring seven goals in 11 games this season, including a hat trick in a 3-0 win away at Le Havre on Saturday. David also scored in Lille’s previous Champions League home game, a 2-0 qualifying win over Slavia Prague in August.
He will face a Real Madrid defence that hasn’t been impenetrable this season, conceding five goals in their last four games. Previous Champions League opponents Stuttgart scored against Los Blancos in the Bernabeau, thanks to a strike from Denis Undav. They also conceded in all their group stage away games in the last campaign.
RB Leipzig v Juventus

RB Leipzig have had a topsy-turvy start to the season but settled down with a comfy 4-0 win against struggling Augsburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
They boast healthy firepower through Xavi Simons, Lois Openda and Benjamin Sesko. But they have struggled to put that into practice, failing to score in two and only scoring once in another two of their six games.
Juventus are unbeaten in all competitions under new boss Thiago Motta and have conceded ZERO goals so far in Serie A. PSV did find a way past Michele Di Gregorio in their previous Champions League match, but it was an injury-time consolation. Nothing about this tie screams goals.
Benfica v Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid to win
Benfica were lucky to escape Belgrade with three points in their opening 2-1 win against Crvezda Zvenda. Their Serbian opponents possibly deserved a draw, but poor finishing let them down. They have tasted defeat this campaign, too, losing 2-0 to FC Famalicão on the opening day.
Atletico Madrid won’t let them off as lightly when they arrive in Portugal. With Antoine Griezmann, Julian Alvarez, Alexander Sorloth and Conor Gallagher in great form in front of goal and an unbeaten record on their side, you can expect Diego Simeone’s side to come away with the win.
Dinamo Zagreb v Monaco

Monaco to win
Monaco have enjoyed a dream start to the season so far, matching PSG stride for stride at the top of Ligue 1 and achieving a 2-1 victory over Barcelona on matchday one of the Champions League. Adi Hütter’s side have only drawn one game and lost zero, making them one of the most prolific teams in Europe.
Hosts Dinamo Zagreb had a European opener to forget, losing an astonishing 9-2 to Bayern Munich. The result led to boss Sergej Jakirovic’s sacking. The Croatians haven’t been flawless in the league, losing two of their opening eight games. Despite the return of former league-winning boss Nenad Bjelica, this could be another long night in Zagreb.
Sturm Graz v Club Brugge

Over 2.5 goals
After their surprise qualification, Sturm Graz will want to enjoy all of their Champions League outings this season, and that is excellent news for the neutral when you look at their goal statistics.
Over 2.5 goals have been scored in all of their last eight games, and after defeat to Brest on matchday one, the Austrians will want to attack to win here.
Club Brugge are also seeking a first three points in Europe this season after losing 3-0 to Borussia Dortmund in their opener. Goals are also a regular theme in their games, with over 2.5 hitting the back of the net in six of their last seven. It could be an exciting night in southern Austria.
