Can Ange Postecoglou resist the urge to deliver a “lads, it’s Man United…” teamtalk at Old Trafford on Sunday? He probably should given how things have been going to start the season at Spurs.
Still, it’s one of the goaliest – it’s not a word, but it should be – Premier League fixtures in history this weekend and Peter Crouch has figuratively ducked his head into Power Towers to deliver his assessment of Man United v Tottenham, and remember our smashing Super Sub offer keeps your players bets rolling even if your selection is hauled off early!

Spurs played well against Brentford and looked good attacking-wise, even though they did give up chances.
There’s been a bit of worry among Spurs fans recently. I don’t think they’re entirely happy but you know a second half performance definitely put paid to some of that.
Dominic Solanke getting his first goal helped. It was a big moment for him you know I think he’ll be a success there. He’s got pace around him, he’s got some creativity behind him and I think he’ll get goals. The first one’s very important and he’ll be pleased to have it out of the way.
I know people within Bournemouth who think he’s a real top player. It probably came a little bit early for him at Liverpool and Chelsea. I remember it took me time before I thought I was ready for the Premier League. Now’s his opportunity.
I fancy Tottenham to get fourth spot and they’re a good side when they get the first team on the pitch. There’s been some of this negativity recently and Tottenham can be a difficult place to play at times when the mood is bad, so they’ve got to turn that around with some convincing performances.
One at Old Trafford on Sunday would help. It’s a big game for Spurs and it’s become one for Man United considering what happened against FC Twente.
They were in total control of that game in the first half. It looked like it was going to be a case of how many? But FC Twente always seemed to pose a threat and they had chances.
It was a frustrating night for the manager as well, considering they’d gone one-nil up at home and they should be seeing teams like that off.
The result puts the manager again under pressure. We went down to Southampton for TNT and they won 3-0, then they hammer Barnsley in the cup and you think they’re playing well. But the next weekend he drops Marcus Rashford for whatever reason against Palace, they don’t score, then he needs another result against Twente and doesn’t get it.
It’s so frustrating as a striker to go in and out of the team like that too. I remember going away and doing well with England and then scoring a hat-trick for Liverpool and not playing in the next game and thinking “I’m on fire, let me play!”
Rashford hadn’t scored for 12 games and then gets one against Southampton, gets two in midweek and then he’s dropped for the Saturday. I do not get that mentality. You can rest me when I’m not scoring! If I’m in that rich line of form I’ll be like “keep playing me” because you sometimes feel like you can go on a run. And Marcus Rashford has been quite a streaky player. When he gets a few goals, he can go and get a load.
Marcus Rashford to be fouled 1+ times
I’ve liked seeing him and Amad Diallo off the wings for United this season. They’ve been dangerous and I can see them causing trouble for Spurs on Sunday. It seems likely Rashford will draw at least one foul in the game.
Match Odds: Draw
Spurs definitely have the ability to go and win this game, but both sides have shown they can give up chances too. I fancy this to be a high-scoring game and a draw seems the likeliest outcome to me.
James Maddison to have 1+ shots on target
There are threats all across Tottenham ‘s frontline and they should really test Andre Onana.
James Maddison looks really sharp at the moment, certainly against Brentford he posed a lot of problems and I can see him getting a shot on target against United.
Son Heung-min to have 1+ shots on target
And Son should get an opportunity too to make his mark on the game, so I’ll take him to have at least one shot on target as well.
