Football Accumulator Tips: Saturday’s 9/1 Premier League punt for the 3pm games

Our man Sam's got Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze shining on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday's 3pm Premier League Acca tips, Chelsea v Brighton, Brentford v West Ham, Everton v Crystal Palace, Arsenal v Leicester City, Nottingham Forest v Fulham, 28th september 2024

The Premier League returns after a busy mid-week of Europa League and Carabao Cup action. With the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League all pencilled in for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, we’ve got five games slated for the traditional 3p.m. slot.

Our footie tipster, Sam Farley, has rolled up his sleeves and dived head first into each game and picked out a punt.

Since this is a five-fold Acca, we’re covered by Paddy’s footy acca betting offer, so should one leg let you down, you get your stake back.

Oh, and there’s more good news. Sam has four player picks, all of which fall under Paddy’s Super Sub promotion, meaning the pick carries over to his replacement should he come off.

Premier League Football Accumulator Tips

All 3pm kick-offs

Chelsea v Brighton – Noni Madueke to have 1 or more shots on target
Brentford v West Ham – Mohammed Kudus to be fouled 2+ times
Everton v Crystal Palace – Eberechi Eze to score or assist
Arsenal v Leicester City – Arsenal to win & over 2.5 goals
Nottingham Forest v Fulham – Kenny Tete to commit 1+ fouls

Chelsea v Brighton – Noni Madueke to have 1 or more shots on target

Chelsea have been looking electric over the past couple of weeks, and their attack, in particular, is stacked with speed and trickery. The plaudits have mainly gone to striker Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer but Noni Madueke’s form has been excellent and earned him his first England cap.

Madueke trails only Jackson in total shots on target, with seven already in just four games. That’s three more than Cole Palmer, and in terms of time on the pitch, his 1.93 shots on target per 90 minutes is only a shade behind Jackson’s at 1.96. He’s a dangerous force down Chelsea’s right flank and loves to take shots, leading Chelsea on 12. Back him to get another on target this weekend.

Noni Madueke Player To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target

Brentford v West Ham – Mohammed Kudus to be fouled 2+ times

West Ham haven’t quite managed to gel just yet, but it’s surely coming soon; there’s too much quality in that squad to keep on letting points slip. Central to their hopes is Mohammed Kudus, with the Ghanian, the danger man, in their attack.

It’s clear that opposition teams think so, too, with rivals often kicking the former Ajax man to stop him. He’s been fouled 11 times in five games, which is nearly double that of the next player, Jarrod Bowen, with six.

Mohammed Kudus Player To Be Fouled 2 Or More Times

Everton v Crystal Palace – Eberechi Eze to score or assist

So far this season, Eberechi Eze has only scored one goal, but that’s likely to change soon. He’s taken 12 shots on goal, averaging 2.4 for every 90 minutes on the field. Even more impressive is that half of his shots have hit the target.

With just one of six shots on target going in, we’re surely set for some positive regression, and Everton, a team that has given up 14 goals already this season, is the perfect opposition for the England man to get his next goal. We’ll take him to assist, too, as he’s more than willing to set up a teammate when they have a clearer shot on goal.

Eberechi Eze To Score Or Assist

Arsenal v Leicester City – Arsenal to win & over 2.5 goals

So far, we’ve seen both teams to score landing in all five of Leicester’s Premier League games. They face a tough task to win at the Emirates on Saturday and likely won’t, but the Foxes have scored in all five since returning to the top flight, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if they did rattle the net.

Having said that, it would also not surprise anyone should this end 3-0 to the Gunners. With all of the column inches taken up this week about Arsenal’s negativity and their love for the ‘dark arts,’ well, imagine you’re an Arsenal player; you’re going to want to put the record straight.

We’re expecting a strong response from the hosts here, and with Bukaya Saka, Gabriel Jesus, and Leandro Trossard set to start, and Kai Havertz, Thomas Partey and Declan Rice behind them in support, they could really turn on the style. We have this one ending 3-0, or 2-1, or above.

Arsenal And Over 2.5 WDW & O/U 2.5 Goals

Nottingham Forest v Fulham – Kenny Tete to commit 1+ fouls

Fulham’s Dutch right-back has started all five of their Premier League games this season and is one of the first names on the team sheet, but he’s got a tough Saturday ahead of him, given that he’ll be tasked with keeping the shackles on Callum Hudson-Odoi. Odoi will be even more important to Forest’s attack with Morgan Gibbs-White suspended and has been fouled on average once per game this season.

Tete has been consistently one of Fulham’s best performers over the past few years, but he does give away fouls. He may only have the one yellow card to his name this season, but he’s been blown up against on eight occasions already, the second-highest in the Fulham squad, and is likely to do so again, given his matchup.
